Best workout classes in the downtown area. The classes are fun and make you want to go every day. The staff are knowledgeable and they will correct your form which is really important.

I did as many personal workouts you can imagine, from the apps, to the strategies from YouTube fitness stars. Nothing stuck with me until I did F45. I became part of the 100 club purely because it made exercise enjoyable, and when I finished I felt like I had accomplished something big for the day. All the trainers were incredibly gracious and helpful. Paul was always personally attentive and pushed me further than I thought I could go. Amanda and Angela were always a foundational smiling face that made class such joy, starting my day with happiness. Anthony definitely pushed me the furthest with his tough love approach, every time I finished a class with him I was proud of myself. And Jacobo brought such a unique and motivating energy that filled my soul each time. These were my core trainers that I had class with, each with their own individual style that gave me exactly what I needed in my fitness journey, and beyond. Even the newer trainers such as Kara were developing their unique brand of motivation that made going to F45 every day a unique experience. To me, that's what I needed in an exercise, something fresh every time. Unfortunately for me, I moved away, but I will miss the friends I made, and I will miss this group of trainers that guided me past my initially perceived limits. Thank you to all of you.

I have nothing but great things to say about F45. I saw my friend attend classes on her social media and was always curious about it, but was extremely intimidated by the routines they do in class. I never work out so I was scared of looking like a newb. One day I decided to sign up and it was such a fun experience! Everyone was really friendly, and the instructors helped me with all of the moves to make sure I didn't injure myself. The awesome music really gets you going and you're usually teamed up with someone so you're not doing the workouts alone. You build camaraderie and friendships in class because you see how everyone just struggles together and also supports one another. There's a different work out everyday so you won't ever feel bored. You can tell the instructors really care for your well-being, and pushes you to do your best. My fiancé told me that me joining F45 was one of the best things that has happened to me because he's seen how much stronger I've become, and I agree! My clothes FINALLY fit after 3 years. Woo Hoo!

I love taking classes at this F45 as I typically lack motivation and accountability when it comes to strength and conditioning. F45 makes training effective & efficient plus it helps me lean out and reset my body. There are plenty of class options so I don't really have an excuse to not go. I highly recommend taking classes with Joy and Kiara, who keep the classes fun and engaging even when you're doing burpees.

Two words.. life changing! I've never felt better and stronger. Love the classes (the screens and the variations so you don't get bored!), the coaches, and the community. Great positive vibes all around! Also, I truly believe that this is one of the best F45 studios I've been to. The owner really cares about making it the best and it truly shows.

I love F45 Arts District! I have never pushed myself so hard or enjoyed working out as much as I do with F45. I love being able to just show up to class and not having to think about my workout. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

I finally became a monthly member in April 2023 and it's the best decision I've ever made for my personal mental/physical health and fitness. The push for me to become a monthly member was the pandemic weight I had gained over the last few years. Also, I tried other F45 studios but the vibes at this studio is incomparable. In May 2023 I signed up for my first 45-day Challenge with the goal of losing weight. I did this by taking classes almost daily and counting macros. The biggest lesson I learned from this Challenge was how important nutrition is, especially getting enough protein to build muscle. I learned so much about food and how my body changed in response to my eating habits (carbs made me feel bloated!) Paul is great at providing guidance to help you reach your goals. By the end of the Challenge I lost 6.6 lbs. in body weight, had 15% fat loss and lowered my body fat % by 2.7%. I was really happy with the results and I even won the Coach's award, which was a surprising bonus! To continue the momentum, in September 2023 I signed up for my next 45-day Challenge. This time I didn't count macros since the healthy eating habits that I established from the previous Challenge carried over. I found that I craved healthier foods, which satisfied my appetite so I didn't need to eat as much or overeat. I continued to work out daily at the gym and that helped me get stronger. Back in May I could barely do one unassisted pull-up. Now I am up to 7 unassisted pull-ups. I found that consistency is key to get to this point. By the end of the second Challenge I lost 11.7 lbs. in body weight, had 20% fat loss and lowered by body fat % by 2.8%. I ended up being the female winner for the Challenge! In the last 4 months I have lost over 20 lbs. in body weight (lost an additional 2.2 lbs between the challenges). I feel the strongest I have ever felt in my life. The journey for this transformation could not have happened without the amazing trainers, members and community at F45 Arts District - and for that I am eternally grateful. It was only after I became a monthly member that I was able to form and foster incredible friendships. It's so motivating and fun to work out with friends. I know members who drive out of their way to come specifically to this studio because it’s worth it. The trainers and members are so supportive and they always elevate and push me. They really made me believe that anything is possible. My transformation has been life-changing and for all the hard work I put in, I have been rewarded tenfold - and that is priceless!

I joined F45 Arts District a year ago after running my first marathon (LA Marathon) in March 2022. I was only running at that time, and desperately needed to incorporate strength-training into my workout, so I looked into joining a gym and came across F45 arts district. I started with their trial week, and on my first day, Joy, the membership manager at the time, hopped into the workout as my partner to show me the ropes. The workout was intimidating at first (everything was so fast-paced!), but she guided me through it all and I think that kind of support made all the difference! As I continued to workout the rest of the week, I found the people and coaches to be very friendly, welcoming, and encouraging as well. And eventually, I became less anxious, more comfortable, and excited to come back for more workouts! So I committed to a 3-month membership, then a 6-month membership, and now I'm on a 12-month membership plan! And in that time frame, I have since ran 4 marathons in Manila, Bangkok, Honolulu, and Tokyo (all places with F45 gyms!).I enjoy training with F45AD because it's such community-oriented gym. I like that I've found a community here and I'm grateful for all I have been able to accomplish by training alongside these wonderful group of people and newfound friends.

F45 Training, specifically the Arts District location, has been the best gym experience I've ever had. I've been a member here for one year, and I'm the fittest I have been in my adult life. It's seriously the first gym I've been a part of where I have seen significant physical transformation. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend signing up for the trial and going as many times as you can in your first week. I can almost guarantee it will hit different than any other gym community you've experienced.Over my last 12 months at F45, I've lost over 35lb and cut my body fat % in half. When I joined I didn't even think this was possible lol. Here are some highlights:1. Coaches. They are amazing. They all have an amazing balance of encouragement, energy, and giving you feedback on technique/form. They're super intentional about getting to know members. I think after only one week they all knew my name (that really impressed me). The relationships between the coaches and members here is really wonderful.2. Workouts. Workouts are legitimately addicting. I have a hard time taking a rest day because I have FOMO, not even exaggerating. They're fun and have a great balance of strength training and cardio. After working out here for a year, I still find them very challenging (in a good way!) and it's been super encouraging levelling up and getting stronger. I throw in some 2x/days sometimes because I legitimately want to do it twice lol.3. Community. The members here are rad. A lot of folks live in the Arts District and are so down to earth and friendly. It makes a huge difference when you show up to workout and know everyone in your class. I've never seen a gym community this close, it's really cool.4. Transformation. F45 does periodic 6-8 week "challenges", which are opt-in internal competitions to lose fat & gain muscle. These have been where I've seen the most progress in my fitness journey, and have provided some amazing, tangible motivation and accountability. Through these challenges I've dialed in my nutrition in ways I was never motivated to do so in the past and seen really mind-blowing results.I can't emphasize enough how much I love F45 Arts District lol. It's been a game changer, full stop.

February 2023 by Allen B.
Hey, it's Allen here. What I can say after 100+ classes in at F45 Arts District I have built up my endurance, my strength, my core, and my mobility in ways I did not know it was possible. I can see the results physically and also see my mental game stronger too. I surprised myself, it feels damn good! The workouts are split into different classes. An example would be one class focusing on cardio and endurance, then the next day is strength and legs, and another day is a hybrid of a full body workout and resistance. The classes are always challenging, different and keep you interested with new workout movements! Love it. In the words of Kobe, "The job is not finished."Before joining the gym, I was working out during the pandemic on my own and felt I was missing something. I was missing the extra motivation, and drive to reach my goals faster. So I decided to join the gym. Best decision ever! The coaches at F45 Arts District care about your performance, they help you on the right form for the workouts, reach your individual goals, and humor you occasionally once in a while after becoming a regular. Don't worry the jokes are great! haha What sets F45 Arts District apart from the rest of F45 gyms is their top-tier coaches, and the people who attend the gym who come from all types of work backgrounds. This community is amazing and special! So if you are looking for a gym with the extra push, a welcoming community, and just plain fun, I recommend F45 Arts District!

I have been a member of this studio on and off since 2019 and have nothing but positive things to say about Paul and his team of trainers. This is a great community, the work outs are tough but you can certainly go at your own pace and modify as needed due to injuries, etc. Highly recommend trying out if you are unsure, you will be hooked.

So glad I joined this community of people who encourage one another and push themselves to be their absolute best.Walking in here took a lot from me since I am quite shy, but I am so glad I did. Most importantly, the change in my body, you couldn't get results like these at a regular gym. Thanks to the team here at arts district , you truly changed my life !

I don't know how to put everything into words that this whole community, coaches, and workouts embody, but I will try! I've been coming to this gym since February and just crossed my 100 club mark! I'm not one to go to a regular gym and lift weights by myself, so this environment is perfect for me and really keeps me motivated. #teamtraininglifechanging Coming here every day is honestly one of my favorite parts of my day and now I really look forward to it. Everyone is so professional and kind, and they really care about you, your life, and your fitness journey (coaches and fellow F45'ers alike).Once you start, you won't want to stop! I LOVE THIS PLACE Also, Joy is the absolute best membership manager and person. When I didn't come the rest of the week after my very first class (because my legs were actually jello) - she texted me and checked in to make sure I was okay. I'm not joking when I say this community is SPECIAL.i love you F45 Arts District

Edit to owner's response:I really don't appreciate you responding STILL as though I've done something wrong here as a customer. I actually didn't leave details out, I said I'd done four days before this. However, there was nowhere that indicated that the two week thing I had signed up for was a 'trial', only that it was ideal for new people which as I said previously, sounded like it was good for me considering I'd only done a few classes and been very obviously treated as the new person! And while its really pretty normal to use different personal email addresses to find deals online, I had no idea this was unavailable to my previous email address. Not to mention the reason your colleague told me that the issue was because I should have signed up on Saturday, not Monday, even though your website was still offering this deal on the Monday. (Again, like I said before, this was already two days into the deal I had paid for and apparently was no longer allowed to do, which I should have been made aware of BEFORE I started, considering your staff recognised me and welcomed me back.) Your colleague did not clearly explain that I would now need to pay for another week, hence I was shocked and surprised to realise that they were trying to charge me more, when it was clearly your mistake. You've changed the facts of what happened and it's very unfair.__________Went to F45 in the Arts District while in LA a few weeks ago. While I enjoyed the content of the workouts, I found the staff very intrusive and unfortunately my experience as a customer was really disappointing. I had been to 4 classes in the first week and as I was in the area for another couple of weeks, I found a 2-week deal online that I could afford and meant I could continue working out while I was there. It was meant for new people to get into the workouts at F45 so it seemed perfect for me. After having been there for 2 classes, one of the trainers came up and said that that deal had expired so I wasn't able to continue it. I was quite confused as it obviously was available online, and mentioned this to them that it shouldn't have been available to book if it wasn't available. They said they were aware of this and they were sorry that it shouldn't have been online. I thought it was strange they'd mentioned it to me, and surely would have just rectified the error online for future customers, but they then proceeded to tell me they would "refund me", or what I thought was a refund, and terminate my deal. I thought this was quite unfair as it was their mistake, but to make the situation worse, it turned out they were actually trying to refund me then charge me more to sign up for just another 4 days (rather than the 2 weeks I'd already booked and paid for), using the reasoning that their rent and bills at that location were very high (?!). I said I wouldn't have booked it had I known the deal wasn't available, or that it would be so expensive for just a few more days as I was not in a position to spend so much at the time. They were very patronising and confusing with their explanations, and was appalled to find out when I left that they had in fact charged me for a standard week that I had not chosen to sign up for. Definitely not a good experience, and one that I won't be repeating as I was left feeling pretty humiliated.
