WOW is all I can say, honestly! We just had the most delightful experience with Julie. We went in to see about a vintage gold band for my fiancé and we really lucked out. Julie is SO knowledgeable! She took her time with us and allowed us to ask a million questions not only about the vintage cigar bands but also about all the jewelry (they have a massive selection). The resizing was included which was awesome, too. We had such a warm and inviting experience, especially compared to another estate jewelry shop we had visited earlier that day (name redacted). Thanks, Julie! Can't wait to send my fiancé here for all my anniversary presents ;)

This place is a gem in every use of the word! An incredible selection that spans much further in price than their website really lets on. I found a beautiful vintage ring for our anniversary and they were super accommodating in the search. They have some truly extraordinary pieces that you'd expect from a jeweler of this caliber as well as smaller and more practical beauties for any occasion. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and I will definitely be coming back here again!

Having never been engaged, nor in need a jeweler before, Excalibur came highly recommended by Eileen at Pepi's via a close friend. I just needed my ring resized and when I say they went above and beyond, I'm not giving them enough credit. I called on Friday and, while they don't take appointments on Saturday, they suggested we just pop in. We went when they opened and were helped by Max right away. They even said it would be ready by end of day! So we walked down the street to eat when I received a call from Kurt, the owner: there was a major problem with my ring. We walked back to the store and not only did Kurt explain what happened and our options, but he took the time from whatever he was clearly working on to sit down with us, provide some excellent education and help us make a decision. By 5pm, we were headed back to Excalibur to pick up my ring, which is now more beautiful than I thought possible. I have been staring at the sparkles ever since and my face hurts from smiling. Being in customer service, myself, I found Max and Kurt to be top-notch. They genuinely cared about our issue and helped us make an informed decision. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with jewelry and would give them all the stars if I could, except the ones that are on my finger! :) Thanks, you guys!!

I have a wedding ring from 1923 that needed a clean. I also wanted it engraved and to have a wedding band made. I met with Amy who was so helpful! They cleaned my ring for free and she took her time showing me what they had in bands. Since what I was looking for was specialized she referred me to another jeweler they work with (they don't make custom pieces or do engraving). I had a wonderful experience and plan to give them my business in the future. They have a great selection, and the customer service is impeccable.

Seriously the best quality, selection, value and customer service in the jewelry industry. My husband and I found my engagement ring and wedding ring at Excalibur back in 2008. They provide life time cleaning and sizing! I've had to get my ring sized up two times since then. If I'm in the area I'll pop in and have my ring cleaned too. They have fulfilled that promise to me with speed and welcoming service; but today they fulfilled their other promise! When my husband bought my rings, they promised that whatever he paid for the ring, we could always come back at anytime to "upgrade" and get the full purchase price applied to that future upgrade. As we are approaching our 10th wedding anniversary, I asked my hubby if we could "upgrade" he agreed and we headed back to Excalibur. I showed them a picture of a style of ring that I liked (since my taste has changed over 10 years.) they let me go through every ring there. Not just one at a time with the pressure of asking for each to be taken out individually, but whole displays laid before me. It was so fun trying on every style, size and cut with such freedom and knowledgeable interaction. We found the perfect ring and they had it sized and even changed out the diamond to bring it in my price range; the same day, specifically in about 1.5 hours! This type of care was above and beyond what you would get anywhere else. We are not rich, but they treated me like I was. It was such a lovely experience. I really cannot recommend them more. 10 years later and they are still providing excellent service. Don't go anywhere else, this is THE best place. My now fiance surprised me by bringing me to Excalibur to look at vintage rings and it was such a special experience. The store is exactly what you would hope for...small, quaint with beautiful hand picked exquisite vintage pieces that all look like works of art. Amy and her staff were so patient and helpful and we didn't feel rushed or like we were getting "sold". I found what I thought was the most gorgeous ring ever but my man wanted to shop other places. We looked at thousands of rings online and we went to the diamond district downtown. But I compared everything to the ring I saw at Excalibur. It felt like it had soul. Thank god it was still there when we returned. We had narrowed it down between that one and one other we had on hold downtown. But I knew in my heart that if someone else bought "my" ring I would be devastated. From start to finish everyone at Excalibur helped us. Even now when I have been diagnosed with Cancer Amy is working with me to hold off on sizing the ring until I am thru chemo while helping me do other things in the meantime so I can still wear it....I look at it a million times a day!!! Amy is such a gem! She was refreshingly helpful and so friendly. Many jewelers can feel very pretentious but that is not the case at Excalibur. Excalibur has a really amazing collection of estate jewelry. The best in LA. The prices are very reasonable and in line with the quality. The process was very easy and I love the ring we purchased. I already have my eye on another piece and I will absolutely return. Very happy with the experience all around! Thanks Amy!
