Nice clean gym but mediocre equipment. They keep on increasing the membership costs every single year but have not added aNew piece of weight equipment in 4 years. Need more leg machines and different chest machines.Overcrowded at all time!

The steam room is a bit small but the equipment is new and the staff is great. This equinox is very well managed btw. Much better than other nearby locations. But I'm concerned about the ceilings. Why are they open and is that even safe? See photo

I personally loved going to the soundbaths, however, my one star review comes from a specific situation where I was told personal information regarding an employee's petty and wrongful termination layered with microagressions. When I reached out to the employee about their status at the club, they said the company had also shared with other members that were trying to book with them, that they were no longer a part of Equinox and was on paid suspension. I find that incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to the employee that was a great asset to the company. I think the way this was handled was completely disgusting and management should be reprimanded for such actions. I would be livid if my personal information got out there because of a manager's incompetence. There are other reviews on here talking about the mgmt as well. I'm hoping this is thoroughly investigated because a gym as prestigious as Equinox is, should not be having these issues.

I appreciate this gym and the aesthetic of the place, I appreciate the cleanliness and the kindness of each staff member. I've never had an unpleasant experience with the miracle mile Equinox although I'm eager to try different locations.

I had the pleasure of working with Carlos at Equinox Miracle Mile, and can confidently say he is an exceptional personal trainer. Carlos took the time to understand my goals and tailored a workout program that pushed me to my limits while ensuring my safety and well-being. He has a positive demeanor that kept me motivated throughout our sessions. I highly recommend Carlos to anyone seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable personal trainer.

Great place. The weights are heavy and the water fountain is cold. Eucalyptus infused towels are a post workout touch.

Always clean and friendly but they are very stubborn with their class types, dates and times... The less classes the more Equinox makes so its all about the bottom line. They really lack cardio classes and they don't know their membership base very well.

For the most expensive gym in LA you would think they could get a decent tv/cable package that would include CBS, real ESPN(not Sportsnet) as many ppl who who it would like to watch live sports while on various cardio machines, Pls step up your game !

My experience with pausing and then canceling my account was terrible. I moved out of the area and called to pause my account for at least 3 months. When I called, the woman I spoke with said she would email me a freeze form to sign. I never received it and was charged the full membership price. A few days later after I was billed, I called again and asked to be refunded and charged only the pause fee of $50, which they did with no problems. Unfortunately, they sent me a freeze form to pause my account for only 1 month instead of 3 (even though I spoke with someone over the phone twice to freeze for 3 months), and I received another charge of $275 in Dec. After I was charged, I asked to cancel my account and they said they were unable to refund me this time because I brought this up a few days after I was charged a full membership price. Had I known I was going to be charged $275 again I would have called them earlier before my billing period. Samm, the assistant general manager, had no problem refunding me last month, but this month they decided not to refund me despite that I reached out a few days after I was charged a full membership fee instead of a pause fee for the month of January. I was planning on becoming a member again later in the year when I moved back to LA, but my experience with the assistant general manager Samm has left me feeling unappreciated as a customer and I won’t be returning.

The equinox manager (WRS) made some condescending remarks on the phone when addressing my cancellation and overpayment. He was argumentative and insisted I could not cancel without a hardship reason. I advised him several times that my contractual obligations were met and a hardship excuse was not appropriate. The mgr continued to emphasized that he deals with undesirable members trying to scheme the equinox polices all the time. I advised him that was an inappropriate comment. And by saying this, you are clearly implying that I am a schemer too. He quickly recanted. This communication took place after I repeatedly sent emails requesting follow-up /status updates to my original cancellation and refund for overpayment to the manager. My original membership cancellation was submitted on the Equinox website via their
[email protected] email portal. After days of no email confirmation, I called the Miracle Mile Equinox and was a referred to the Manager, which was a regrettable mistake. The manager had no knowledge or awareness of the canceling process available Equinox's website and made the disparaging comments. Gym enthusiast know your membership contract and policies well, because the employees and manager at this location are not educated on their polices/procedures and will mislead you. At the premium price Exquinox charges, good customer service is an expectation and anything else is unacceptable.

Great day to start your day with, nice atmosphere, best specialized equipment you need to start your workout, energetic and skilled trainers, everything you need to feel yourself in light, i highly recommend everyone to take the opportunity to be trained in this beautiful and amazing facility where everyone is welcome and helped with any needs they have. The staff are intelligent, warm and professional . It is focused on maintaining good health as well as physical, social and mental being. If you want both to have good health and good mind take this opportunity and enjoy being in this amazing place. It is a miracle place, don’t hetsitste to go.

I experienced the most terrible customer service at this gym. They are extremely un professional and rude. I regret ever purchasing my gym membership with them. I have been a member with them for over 3 years. I pay over $300 a month for my membership. They have consistently singled me out and treated me different from other member's. I have complained to higher management and nothing has been done. They have tried to corner me to no remedy or solution. I am still doing my research to get proper repercussion for these act's.
