Had time to kill and wandered into the basement area of this Little Tokyo mall. Followed around the store as if my intent was to shoplift their statues of little girls dressed in bikinis, plastic models of war bombers, and other creepy things to waste your time and money on. Given the stuff they sell, the bad vibes at this store makes perfect sense. The kindest thing you can say is this is a very sad place.

Prices are kinda whatever. However, the entire lot has tons of cool stuff to see and buy. Check it out for yourself, the surrounding shops make this place a sweet hangout/date spot.

I not only found exactly the collectible I was looking for, but it arrived in an expertly packed box with a little hand written post-it note thanking me for the order. If that's not 5 star customer service, I don't know what is.

I'm an avid board gamer, and I can't say enough good things about this hobby shop. The service is fantastic, and the staff is always ready to recommend the latest and greatest board games. The quality of their board game selection is top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from. What's even more impressive is the value; their prices are competitive, and I always leave with a new game that brings hours of fun. This shop is a board gamer's paradise!

It was my birthday, so I was driving up to little Tokyo from San Diego and I stopped by many stores, but this was by far the best one. I am a huge tokusatsu fan and I have been searching for a good store for Kamen Rider. The prices are great if you don't care about it being used. They also had tons of Super Sentai. This place is also great for new Gundam at fair prices. It was the same as online, but without any shipping prices. This is definitely a must visit store for tokusatsu and Gundam fans. I went here with my friends and left satisfied.

I rented a selection of toys for a children's event, and it was a fantastic experience. The toys were in excellent condition, and the kids had a blast playing with them. The rental fee was very affordable, and it saved me from buying toys that the kids might only use once. Great service, top-quality toys, and unbeatable value. I'll be back for more rentals in the future!

If you're an anime fan you'll really enjoy this shop, worth checking out. They seem to be split in multiple locations within the same plaza.

The Anime holy ground - underground!! There are several shops in this treasure trove: a video game shop, a trading card game shop, a Funko Pop! shop, a claw machine shop, a high-end art studio, a high-end action figure shop, and a book shop. All Anime. Some of the shops also buy/sell/trade for Anime items, which is awesome. I cannot understate the n*** awesomeness that awaits all who wander into the Jungle! You must go to Little Tokyo and feast your eyes (and wallet) upon this splendor!

It's incredible that there won't be Tuesdays, do you know how many people only have Tuesday off and just want to go to your store? You can see that they don't care about the customers, hopefully they go bankrupt soon, and it seems disrespectful to customers that one day when they want to go to their store they find it closed, thank you very much for nothing

In the heart of the little Tokyo Shopping area Anime Jungle is the lower level of Anime targeted shops. Anime Jungle carries a huge assortment of Anime goods from different shows and genres. Japanese imports from plushies and plastic model kits to DVDs and music from all your faves. The only con is it's in a touristy area so it can get busy at times.

A Little Tokyo institution - it's hard to describe going to Little Tokyo without describing the customary stop by Anime Jungle. According to a random writer I follow on twitter (an extremely reliable source), Nicholas Cage apparently used to pop into Anime Jungle to shop for anime goods. I am not exactly sure who Nicholas Cage is, but Wikipedia tells me he is famous. However, most importantly, Anime Jungle is easily accessible once again! During the pandemic, they actually limited how many people could be in the store at once (for pretty reasonable reasons), and I think this policy continued until either late 2022 or early 2023. I was never actually able to go to the store during this period because the line to get in was hideously fisted and wrapped around the entire underground mall. But now they just let whatever dregs (aka me) wander in. Yay!I've been to a lot of anime stores in my life, including Akihabara, Ikebukuro, and Nihonbashi (the weeb hive in Osaka) - as well as random ones I've seen in smaller Japanese cities. Anime Jungle is incredibly unique because quite simply, we in the United States get all the trash that the Japanese don't want anymore. So while 90% of anime stores in Japan will have 90% of their store be either the newest seasonal waifus or the customary entire segregated bantustan of idol show fans (Idolmaster, Love Live, Bang Dream etc.), Anime Jungle actually has a LOT of stuff you normally don't see anymore - being a second class weaboo citizen has its upsides! I've seen random things from the gun from Psycho-Pass, an OreShura wallet, FGO merchandise, Full Moon wo Sagashite merch, etc. etc. Really random stuff that they clearly couldn't sell in Japan and shipped out here instead! Fantastic!Anyways, the staff are also pretty nice and they also sometimes do complimentary gift wrapping. The price is what it is - I won't call it super affordable, but quite frankly rent gets more and more expensive every year - pretty much every business in Little Tokyo is either hiking prices or simply closing down - so I think their prices are sensible enough when you consider that they're sitting on prime real estate. Anyways, it's been around here forever, I hope it keeps staying around forever, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Little Tokyo!

Why you clowns decide to put super sticky security tags on gundam model boxes I will never know. Ruins and damages a lot of boxes. Also workers loudly talk about personal problems. I don't need to know that your nurse at anthem messed up your bills. Standing staring at your phone while custumers are out and about.

I loved this store! It was really big, and had a huge variety of anime goods! There were lots of figures and other anime merch. The only drawback of this place was that you can't get any of the smaller products yourself. There is something to block you from taking things off racks, and other small items are all in glass cases. Although I understand why they do this, it is an inconvenience. But this store was fun to look around in and explore! I highly recommend this store if you love anime!
