This is a review of their buyback program. I showed up with DVDs and BluRays today in hopes to get a good price from a reputable business having been a customer for years.
Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. After some discussion, in Japanese, between the two employees they decided to offer me a lowball price for what would be a USED and DAMAGED collector Item.
Now... I would not have been upset about this at all had I not understood Japanese and listened to one employee tell the other that instead of using a "New" price of a HIGHER PRICED item they had scanned..., they searched Amazon instead for a "Like" item and priced it based off a single Disc Blu-Ray release (LOWER PRICED )instead.
Finally offering me 60% on the lower price vs higher price. I will no longer be a customer and I hope this helps anyone else deciding whether they should bring their items here to sell.

Scan the barcode of a figure in the store with the Amazon app. Compare the prices. Your wallet will thank me. Store reeks of BO too.

My girl and I love this place! Perfect place for anime lovers and gamers of all ages! The only things that suck about this place is that the only public restroom has been closed, and the stores close super early (7pm).

Friendly employees and a good selection of YuGiOh and Pokemon singles. They sell booster packs and boxes. Packs for $5 and the boxes for $80. Not a bad price, compared to other shops in the area. I love shopping here for cards!

Got my friend a little gift here, they have a wide selection of figures and other items like badges, stickers, manga and wall scrolls. Not the first time I've been here but each time I've come out with at least one bag. I suggest coming early in the morning if you want to find an item you want since it's first come first serve.

So confusing as there are two locations under same name in a same mall but both shops have the wide variety of collections of figures, cards, manga and anime books, costumes, masks, wigs, posters, etc. that you would not see anywhere else. The value of each item are priceless but if you need to know how much they are to compare, they have price tags attached. From high to low quality and price, they have everything for everyone. The staff are all over the store not only stocking but also helping the customers. Everybody is friendly and knowledgeable, which is very helpful deciding on the purchase. There is a lot going on so it's hard to concentrate to see things but it is quite organized well in categories. This is the place to go if you have any specific character you have in mind.

Release day for one piece tcg this store told us that they had no boxes to sell but were selling single packs limited to 4 per person. A box has 24 packs, there were six of us that got 4 packs meaning we essentially got a box. Each box has a guaranteed hit of at least 2 special cards (AA, AAL, SEC, SP). None of us got any and it's suspicious that they "didn't get their shipment". This shop opened their case early opened packs until they got their hits then sold us the rest of the dead packs.

Had time to kill and wandered into the basement area of this Little Tokyo mall. Followed around the store as if my intent was to shoplift their statues of little girls dressed in bikinis, plastic models of war bombers, and other creepy things to waste your time and money on. Given the stuff they sell, the bad vibes at this store makes perfect sense. The kindest thing you can say is this is a very sad place.
