Good selection of fruits, vegetables, and good Mexican bread. There is plenty of masa for tamales and grapes for the new year. Plenty of toasted bread for capirotada. Strawberries are back.

Terrible service since I stopped in the store, the ladies reluctantly helped me and the supervisor did not want to sell me alcohol even when I showed my ID, what a low class of workers they have, I know they behaved like that with me for being Hispanic and how bad it is because those who The people who served me were Hispanic too ? God help them and try to change their terrible service with me speaking in Spanish and the manager speaking to me in English but well people like that are only like that because they are not happy with what I am proud to be Hispanic without offending nobody

It is a place where it is recommended to buy the market. It has good prices. And its staff in the checkout area is friendly. The other departments need to work on customer service.

Boy is this the hot spot around Christmas time! I usually shop food 4 less but during Christmas this market has pretty much everything when cooking for the holidays ! I go there for the masa and everything for making tamales and so does everyone else in Boyle Heights! Its was sure busy this time the service was friendly! They usually frown at me cause I’m a Mexican that doesn’t speak Spanish! I know it’s all bad!The service this time was great they had everything I needed to make beautiful tamales the lines were long but that was expected!Went home made my tamales but guess what I left them on my stove like a silly and they went sour !

I remember this Market used to be called “lucky” back in the day lol. Then it became el super. I am now 30 years old and I remember coming here with my parents all the time when i was younger and now im the one always bring my mom lol the only thing i really hate is the meat department not because of the smell but because its always packed and they always have my grandparents working the meat department which idk whos smart idea was that lol but hey we all gotta make a living so all to them. I just make sure as soon as i walk in is to go get a ticket so while my mom is grabbing her produce we are already in line for the meat lol overall it’s a good market and the people complaing about the “smell” in the meat department like what u think it should smell like? Roses? Come on lol or the ones complaining about how unorganized the produce area can be, I recommend you go to trader joes then, they have everything more organized and neat but i don't think theyll have the same prices or vibes just saying.

Great market. Wished their inland empire locations are better bcuz their refrigerated produce section is not up to par. Their fruit particularly do spoiled rapidly.

Bad place. I witnessed the meat department manager verbally abusing one of the female employees for using an Xtra glove. It was so bad, I had to asked him to stop, then I requested to talk to the store manager to file a complaint, but he /she was no where to be found. I report it the incident to the cashier manager but she totally ignored me. Small store with lots of managers . Employees get mistreated.

Not my usual market but they hooked me with the watermelon 3lbs for .99 the watermelons are small like basketballs also wanted jicama but they all were old moved on to the bakery I wanted to try their pastel de elote (corn cake) got just the slice to try it & it was surprisingly good like a corn bread pudding, been here a few times & idk who thinks it's a good idea to keep a big yellow trash bin in front of the yogurts I mean at least wash it, skipped their meats altogether idk that area is a bit sus get a few wiffs of something not so fresh, no long lines on todays visit...I did run something over in their parking lot it was a piece of thin wood with nails luckily i have falkens but if it had been the señora with the bald tires next to me y'all would've had a unhappy customer
