I found Alex through his YouTube channel and I couldn't be more grateful. He's patient, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable!It's true. The first year you file taxes for your business in California and on a federal level, it seems like everyone is out to get you!It can be incredibly daunting to not only differentiate tax liability, but avoid misfilings, fees, and things you aren't even aware of. That's when I realized a faceless entity like h&r block wouldn't cut it for me.I needed someone personable, reliable, but most importantly have the knowledge tailor-fit to my situation.Not only was Alex super knowledgeable about the details, but he was always there for me. If I had a question or concern, I never felt abandoned through the process. I think it's because he's so organized, since he was always extremely communicative and never let me down. Well-versed in his various specialties, I've never met anyone so sharp and on top of things. Overall, I'd recommend him to anyone and I'll definitely be referring friends.

I had a great experience working with Alex. He is extremely knowledgeable -- and dare I say passionate?? -- about the intricacies of the tax code! He is professional, has excellent follow-through, and goes above and beyond to help his clients better understand their financial situations.A bit about the process: We started with a free, 15-minute consultation to determine whether Alex could help me. During this call, he gave me an estimate of how long it would take him to address my situation at his hourly rate of $325. Before Alex began work on my issue, I paid half of the upper end of the estimate upfront and Docu-signed an engagement letter.Alex took his time collecting all of my pertinent financial details and kept me apprised of the projected timeline throughout the process. We concluded with a scheduled call where Alex presented me with a very organized, well-thought-out PDF showing potential outcomes considering different variables. He spent an hour and 15 minutes patiently going over the PDF with me and answering every question I could come up with at the time.Since our scheduled call, Alex has remained available via email and phone for further inquiries. He is always friendly and eager to help. And when he can't come up with an answer or explanation on the spot, he researches it and follows up with what he's found.Highly recommended!

I needed professional tax help with an uncommon tax form that Turbo Tax does not support.My journey of finding an expert that could help, started with Turbo Tax suggesting Quick Books experts. After speaking to four experts, two did not have the time to help, one offered to help at a cost of $800, to start with, and the last one suggested I did not even need to file the form.Now being even more confused than when I started, I decided to view some You Tube videos on requirements of tax form 709, and I stumbled on Alex Efros's video.His video was unbelievably clear, precise, detailed and he even offered initial free consulting for 15 minutes.When discussing with Alex he was extremely patient, clear and it became evident he knew his stuff. He was also very straight forward and clear of the cost, the time it would take to file the form, and exactly what he would do.After verifying his credentials, I hired Alex. His work was 100% as he explained and he was extremely professional and timely.In the future, I plan to run all my tax and financial planning questions through Alex. A true professional expert that I definitely recommend.
