We had a really great experience at this nursery. We were looking for a memorial tree that could spend a few years inside and then be planted outside. We received fantastic support with careful considerations regarding the pros and cons of each available tree. We're really happy with our choice. Also very happy that they have a pet safe plant section. We will be back!

cute little place, nice plants. Prices seem a little silly… but that’s the neighborhood now. Owners were helpful

Love this place!! We just moved to the area from Portland and our home was in desperate need of greenery. The owner, Bill, was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His plants are happy, healthy, and fairly priced. The selection can't be beat. Ended up getting enough plants for each room plus a few herbs and veggies at a fair price. We'll be back soon to outfit our new yard!

I stopped by this nursery for the first time today during a visit back to LA. It has an eclectic, funky vibe with many beautiful, unique and healthy plants. I picked up two plants as a gift for a friend, as well as a blouse for myself in the second hand garments area. Rob helped me - he was incredibly kind, friendly and informative about the sun/shade needs of the plants I chose. He shared the store has been around over 20 years. What a gem!

I adore this local nursery. I am always given extra attention and the quality of their plants are amazing. They even gave me an Olive plant as a gift when my dog died. This is a local business to support

Helen is amazing!! I had been searching for a spot where I could browse but also get some insights as to what might work best in my new space. Having just moved to California Helen helped me with what would be best for my outdoor space and gave me a ton of tips on how to care for them. Having a knowledgeable person to help you in getting the right plants and also help to deliver the two large plants- I would never in a dream have thought I would find a spot like this after going to 8 other spots around town with no luck. Great service, great selection, great prices! Go!!

Found this place by mistake. Absolutely lovely. Good products decently priced, great customer service. If you want to support local businesses, start with this one.

This place was a big disappointment. Sad, messy, junk thrown around. It has a thrift store vibe, and not in a cool way. They didn't have a great selection, and when I asked the guy what soil they have, he pointed to two large bags, and said "That's all we have". Just seems like the owner doesn't care.

To truly know Echo Garden, is to really understand its significance in Los Angeles. I've been going to this nursery for 10 years and it might not be as fancy as those new bougie plant boutiques that have been popping up all over town, but the family that owns this place really put their heart into it. My friend and I stopped by yesterday and chatted with Helen for a bit. We learned so much about her father who had passed a couple years ago. I remember him running this store with his wife. The cost back then was super affordable, but we learned that he wasn't trying to make a profit, it was just his love for gardening that kept this store going. We also learned that he had such a great impact in Los Angeles and was the founder of Koreatown. Definitely look up 'Hi Duk Lee' on google to read more about it! Though the selection is smaller than before, they still have a nice variety of everything! And the prices are so fair comparably to other nurseries. It's really rare to be able to hear stories like this first hand. This is still one of my favorite nurseries and I'm so happy that its still around. :)

SUCH A CUTE PLACE!! Lots of selections and ALL EXTREMELY HEALTHY!!! Holy crap I fell in love with their pothos selections. Amazingly lush and healthy. The owner is amazingly nice and very friendly. The price is okay for plants for the health of the plant itself! If I was in the area more, id be going back every time for more plants
