My deposit made on 11/2 haven't cleared yet.Called the bank and was told it now takes 3 days before check clears ???Before funds would be available the following day. Never received a prior notice

I went to dispute a claim on my previous statement and I had called the east West Bank branch in Glendale and they said I could come in to any branch and get it disputed. I went to this branch and the man was so rude and just said 'we don't do that'. I asked why that was and why this other branch said it was possible and he couldn't give me an answer. I called the Glendale branch and they felt so bad and were confused about why this branch wouldn't help me. East West Bank is very helpful and filled with great employees but this specific branch is terrible! Very unhelpful! I recommend visiting the Glendale branch if you bank with east west

Every other branch is good but I am switching my entire business banking because of how frustrating this branch is. Treated poorly every time after years and the bank won’t let you switch home bank.

This bank has the crappiest rules that where never mentioned to me and my uncle when we opened our accounts. Today 1/18/19 we went to bank on Sepulveda and Victory to deposit a 2 check received by my aunts burial policy insurance payment my uncles was with me at time. I borrowed money $6000 cash 3 weeks ago from him and I was paying him back with these 2 checks. They would not take the checks even when I endorsed it to him. The Asian lady called his bank in Silverlake and reported to the Manager. The manager refused to take the check and deposited into my uncles account. He said I would have to deposit it in my account. I told him I was closing my account with them. I said to manager Chase, Wells Fargo and other banks allow people to deposit endorsed checks. He said company policy and can not honor the deposit. My uncle was all steamed up and upset that they did this. Mine you last month they would not allow him to withdrawal $6000 cash from his account when he has hundreds of thousands in that bank. They think the money you deposit into their bank is their money. You are not allowed to touch it unless they approve it. NOW, TELL ME IF THIS BANK IS GOOD. MY RATING IS BELOW -0. DON'T BANK WITH EAST WEST BANK. Too bad East West you need to change your policies and listen more to the customer instead of trying to control them.

My mom banked with them for over 20 yrs! They are so polite, sweet & honest! I love how they remember all of the regulars names! I was there one time & a customer left their wallet. Right away they call the customer to let them know they had the wallet! I also left my keys there once too. I also got a phone call....

Very unprofessional staff. I came here to make a withdrawal and requested to close my account afterward. I met with stiff resistance, open resentment, repeated rude questioning. Finally the staff started discussing amongst themselves why I'm making a withdrawal and closure as if I'm not there. This place is more akin to a street market in China than a bank. If this is what you are looking for in a neighborhood bank, come here by all means. You can mention that I referred you there too.

I arrived at the bank at 4:45 but had to go back to my car to check the check I was going to cash. I told them I would be right back but when I tried to go back into the bank they locked the doors. I looked at phone and it was only 5:50. No one would talk to me, they just had the security guard tell these is nothing he could do. I sat in my car while writing this and they were letting people out that were still inside after 4:50. I ruined my whole day NEVER GO TO THIS BANK!

beware, the online banking tells lies !!!!!!!!!! i deposited a check, 3 days later it shows cleared on my online banking page. the next day, they change their mind and tell me the check is no good. i lost $2600 due to their lie. i am very unhappy. do not trust east west bank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
