Worst hospital in the city first I had my mom here for 3 days for observation first of all rude nurses and staff I called and ask how was she doing and 2 times had me on hold over 30 mins so I hang up and called again 2 nd time she forgot to put me on mute her and 2 other people having a full on conversation for 10 mins about a wedding so I was like hello hello she heard and hang up on me 3 rd time she answered the phone in a rude manner saying you been calling 3 times call your family member do they have a phone (my mom had a stroke she can’t speak) I explained so the nurse in charge of my mom and tells me I don’t know you so I don’t have to tell you nothing stop calling because you are taking time from me this is unacceptable we as family member all we want is to know if our love ones are ok but it seems that they prioritize their conversation instead of giving us a update I will be filling a complain with MBC because this is not ok at all this happen on 8/12/23@2:29 pm

My husband was rushed to this place with people who call themselves nurses and doctors, for a work accident. He was treated horribly from the moment he arrived. No one was willing to help, the staff was yelling at him, the doctor kept yelling he was busy and didn't have time. He was not given proper medical treatment. The lobby and halls were full of addicts and the place was not sanitary. There was sherrifs arriving for something happening in the hall as I was trying to discharge my husband and have him transferred out. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL, EVEN IN EMERGENCY. Ask your EMT to take you to a preferred hospital.

I stayed here for a few days while I was sick with pneumonia. The staff were very pleasant & helpful. One nurse in particular- Ala- was extra kind & helpful plus sharp enough to cut through the red tape preventing me from getting a few things accomplished that I needed. All in all my stay there was very pleasant.

Don't go here unless you want bad treatment. I recommend you take a drive, as these doctors are rude and unprofessional. I really wish my mother would get an apology for dealing with this hospitals treatment. I can't believe they didn't even give her an IV after vomiting for days and clearly being dehydrated. Just don't go here.

They forced me to sit in a hard plastic chair with a level 10 pain. Never had this before. I was accused of faking by the very short middle eastern doctor and then ignored entirely by nursing staffwhen it was discovered i had a history of mental health appointments (Yes, JUST appointments with a therapist). If you value your body and your health, DO NOT GO HERE. This "Hospital" is more like a 1600's torture room for European witches. This place is and was a nightmare. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE.

I got into a car accident and had severe chest pain. When I got there I was told to wait because they were too full. I witnessed the dr push a patient out of the room because of a mistake the dr made !! To top it off, I sat in the waiting room for 5-6 just for them to not check my chest and discharge me. Worst experience ever !! That dr is extremely rude !

Great nurses. They were able to assist me right away. They ran a few tests such as blood and ecg an. I'm not sure why their rating is so low, their service was faster compared to Kaiser. Andrew was the best, his humor provided me comfort

I thought MLK was a dump! This place should be closed. Most everyone that works there had a bad attitude, not helpful at all. Press the call lite for nursing and they won’t answer or answer and hang up. Bring concerns to their attention and they don’t care they ignore you or never follow up. My mom was a patient there on what is supposed to be the telemetry unit…… what a joke. I hope this place closes soon, I’ve seen better care in third world countries.

This is a very neglectful hospital! Brought false hope to my mother and i . They let my mother down . I tried to transfer my mother several times and they refused . I was told “she was in good hands and they knew what they were doing!” The majority of staffs,security Manny and nurses are very rude and unprofessional! Discriminated my religious rights ! Told me not to pray ! That’s insane they really tested my patience ! They have no respect nor compassion ! They treated me like total garage ! I thank God for self control and not allowing me to lower myself to their level . Especially for the evil nurses Joanne , And Edna who killed my mother Georgina Gamboa onMarch 10,2023 . They dropped the ball. Didn’t bother to revive her . they let her die ,I was told to leave and come back in an hour. I went off to the chapel and prayed made my way back inside the ICU room 503 seen everything when nurse Chris said hello! My mother was gone , they disconnected her without my consent and her will . I seen when Chris the nurse flashed the light to my mothers eyes and there was no doctor present. They allowed my mothers pressure to drop and OD my mom ! Made it extremely complicated to get an antopsy done , get the medical records , send her out of La ! Ridiculous! Unacceptable and sickening! You will all REAP WHAT YOU SOWED! May my Angel Rest In Peace! Walking in the streets of Gold when you guys have a place in hell waiting for you to arrive. Georgina Gamboa 46yrs . Left behind 4 children . The youngest of 13yrs old !I serve a God of Justice! Justice will be served ! This is all malpractice neglect ! You guys need to stop killing People! How can you guys eat and sleep knowing you let someone die . You didn’t do you’re job ! You were too busy eating not giving a single care ! Turn away from you’re wicked ways cause God don’t play about his children !

My dad was transferred to this hospital and the care is not great ! There are a few nurses (like 2 ) that are helpful and caring but there are more nurses that are not helpful at all and with a rude attitude. My dad has been there about a week and a half and most of the nurses are not helpful to him when it comes to accommodating things for him because he needs it. I also had tried multiple times a day to get in contact with my fathers nurse and each time I would get a response saying the nurse is busy and I would leave my information down and would wait until the nurse is available. I understand they are busy with other patients, but the fact that I have to call 3 or more times a day to try to get information on my father is ridiculous!

The worst hospital I've ever been to, I had to bring my grandmother back 5 hours later because they left the I.V needle injected. The administration lady was unprofessional; she did not greet or assist. After removing the needle, the nurse disposed of it in a regular trash can rather than a biohazard container.

This is the worst hospital in Los Angeles. If you can avoid please do yourself a favor. All the nurse are sloppy as hell, will promise to any of your request but good luck for them coming back. Aged yet dirty. We pressed the emergency call button, waited for more than 20+ mins, no one helped. I hope health or any local juridical departments should audit this hosptial’s safety and sanitation for the community.

If I could give this hospital no stars I would. My grandmother was rushed here by the ambulance and their lack of effort and care is plain embarrassing. She was there for 8 hours they didn't even offer her water, not until we mentioned the problem at hand did they check her legs..the excuse was we didn't know, bathrooms there are shared with the homeless, and lastly they said they couldn't keep her overnight yet when she got taken to the hospital again the next day they said in the notes my grandmother had said she didn't want to stay. Stay away from this place. They're negligent and unethical. Do not let anyone take your family here.
