Excellent place to by boots, hats, dresses etc etc and up stairs is two restaurants and both sides have live mariachi music and real authentic Mexican food

We went in a group celebrating a friends 50th birthday. Mariachi was good, it was $10 per song. The michelada $8, margaritas $13 and i recommend the lime better than the mango as it was a bit more stronger. Guacamole was excellent however our chips were stale. Overall a great environment with great energy.

Great music we were on the side that can serve tequila. Margaritas don't taste good with wine. The service isn't that good and they are rude. Not very friendly, they need to train the staff for sure and that goes for both sides.I had a shrimp cocktail and it was terrible, a lot of shrimp but the taste sucked.

Sadly my son's and I were so disappointed, I been coming here since I was a little girl used to be my mom's favorite place, Service was terrible I waitress was rude so rude my son's didn't leave a tip thats how bad it was! My food was cold. This Place sure isn't they way it use to be, we are on the right side on 3rd level never again! And Mariachi on a scale of 1 to 10 a 5.

It's fun checking out this market on second floor of mercadito. I love walking around ethnic markets. Mexican, Japanese, Korean, Israel, or Persian, I love it. For me, the reason to come in is to buy pulque. The fermented alcoholic beverage made from a maguey plant I have tasted in Tijuana and in Mexico City a couple months ago and at Aqui es Texcoco here in Los Angeles. It's from a can, so can possibly drink and cruise the shopping center, covering the can in a plastic bag.
