DB Construction were phenomenal to work with! We had them redo our bathroom and the job was done quickly and the whole team was pleasant and polite to work with. They came to the table with great design ideas too which really helped create our dream bathroom. Everything was going so well we asked them to do additional projects like redoing a pocket door in our house, fixing our firepit and repainting our deck. All of these additional projects turned out great as well too!

David and his crew were referred to me by our designer. We hired him after we had to fire our original contractor, who could not finish the job and had a real anger management problem. Our first contractor put up so many obstacles to completing the job, claiming many things could not be done and kept delaying some of the detail work. David stepped into our job and never had any issues with some of the more challenging aspects to our project. He was always calm, and approachable with any problems, and had a positive attitude throughout our project. David took on the job when other contractors refused to assume a project which was about 70% done. David gave us a competitive price and managed to get the job done on our deadline. Even though a lot of work had been done by the previous contractor, there was quite a lot of detail work to do and some tricky installation of a marble floating sink. David's workmanship and ingenuity got the job done just in time for us to host our annual Thanksgiving dinner. I only wish that I had hired David in the first place, so I would not have had the problems I encountered with my first contractor.

I have used DB construction on multiple projects over the last 10 years. Full renovation of a 1920s 2 bedroom to the courtyard gate. Everything is done in a timely manner and with serious craftsmanship. I can always count on David to come through with a great design and beautiful finishes. Most recently we remodeled our bathroom and it looks straight out of a design magazine. He and his team are cool and honest. I will always use DB!

A number of times I've needed some serious work around a very modern contemporary luxury home I own in the hollywood hills. DB has been available over the years for everything from in depth remodel jobs, to small tasks like doors, drawers and glass replacement. Major work was done on the decks, roof, and cabinets all , and kitchen remodel. done with good quality and follow up. I recommend them.

I am so grateful for David and his wonderful crew. I found this company through a friend who recommended David Balmas Construction to me. They completely remodeled and reconfigured my master bathroom, bringing out everything from the bathtub to the floor tiles. The care taken to ensure safety during these difficult times (COVID) was excellent. The crew was always tidy and cleaned up after themselves every day, taking such great care and respect for my home. David was attentive and showed up to check on all the work his crew was doing. The pricing was reasonable, and they completed the job as scheduled. I would highly recommend David BalmasConstruction for all home remodeling needs, and I hope to work with them again soon.

Yaniv and crew did an excellent job on repairs to a brick retaining wall along a driveway for me. They matched the brick perfectly! I highly recommend them to anyone looking on completing any type of brick work.

DB Construction did a great job rewiring my basement and garage while adding sub panel and electric car charger. It was a tricky job which they executed well and they did it in a timely manner. I will hire them again.

David helped us with a full remodel of our first home including addition of a master bedroom and bath, full kitchen remodel, backyard landscaping with gas fire pit, custom woodwork and so much more. He has great relationships with city inspectors and knows regulations like the back of his hand - this makes getting your project approved and completed far easier than with less experienced contractors. He has exceptional carpenters on his team who built us custom cabinets, arched wood windows, doors and gorgeous vanities at a fraction of the cost of buying them from a manufacturer. And if unforeseen issues arise, he doesn’t nickel and dime you like many contractors do. He stays true to his price and will often even throw in little extras free of charge. He cares a lot about his clients. We’ve now hired him for construction of an ADU at our new home and once again are thrilled with the progress. Thank you, David!
