Cute selection but sometimes the staff is rude or unhelpful or robotic. Parking can be a hassle

My encounter with the female cashier was extremely unpleasant. She asked me if I needed a bag then she put all my items together and I had to ask her for a bag then she added, they don’t have paper bags anymore. I had to break the plastic box that I purchased because that lady squeezed everything together. CSH: 00013398

So many handy, useful products, such as plastic storage boxes and numerous stickers for the grandkids. I'll be back for more.

I love Daiso Japan. You can find things, you did not know you needed. They have a great selection of cute stationary, art supplies, gardening tools, home goods, beauty supplies etc. This store location is nice and clean with lots of natural light and a great atmosphere.

the products have improved and are sturdier I think. My fave is the one in Hollywood! I love the plush pillows!

One of my favorite stores everrrrrr! Like an upgraded version of the dollar store! Everything from home goods to food to decor to toys to stationary, gardening, gifts, health and beauty. Literally anything you can think of they have here. Also find something new every time I come.

this is a fun, inexpensive place to find things you didn't know you needed! now i'm not saying it's full of junk. actually quite the opposite. just things, doohickeys, gadgets galore... that you didn't realize could be helpful or useful or fun. like a lot of organizing and storage things - boxes, bins, baskets. all neat, clean, well priced. i in particular have picked up a lot of versatile laundry baskets here for only $5. but they are great to hold clothes, toys, small amounts of gear, all that junk that rolls around in your trunk. i'm telling you, you won't find a $5 laundry basket in target, or the container store! but this place also a lot of cooking gear and gadets and accessories and bowls and plates. authentic foods and sauces and ramen from japan, things you'd never find in the ralphs 'asian food aisle'! toys, hello kitty and other stuff for the kids, stationary, sewing goods, travel and toiletry items and bottles. all of the stuff with a cute and quaint japanese flair. not like the dollar stuff you find in walmart that screams junky and tacky. this western / hollywood location seems to have a much better selection than other daisos i have run in to. or maybe it's simply the clean bright layout. every single solitary person i have brought to this store has left with a handful of useful fun items. stuff you need to get your space in order or jazz it up with a fun, useful, inexpensive flair. come on down and enjoy. you WILL find something you like and you WILL NOT spend a lot of money on it!!! ; - )

I LOVE Daiso!! (They have locations all over LA and in other cities too). If you have never been to one, it’s basically a japanese, streamlined, cutesy, dollar store (most items are only $2) with trinkets, gadgets, decor, etc.Last time I went, I got a bright teal wall clock, a compact mirror, a tote bag, journal, some pens, and a storage container for my jewelry. Less than $20 total!Tip: Keep in mind that they have a “no returns or exchanges” policy. Be prepared to accept the loss if an item is too cheaply made and breaks or isn’t what you’d hoped.Enjoy!

One of the biggest Daiso I've been in besides the one in little Tokyo. The store is clean, bright, organized and the workers and helpful. 10/10 will buy all the things again.

How I love Daiso, let me count the ways. They are great for home goods. Cheap things and as I walk up the aisles, I get mad. I bought that for $10 on Amazon! That was $19! Etc etc etc. My best advice - always go to Daiso first for kitchen and home items. Not only do they have cheap items you actually need, but so many items you didn't know you needed! I found a spam slicer on my last trip and screamed of joy! Showed it to my friends and they both brought one, too! LOL! Perfectly sliced spam to go with my eggs and rice or for masubi, what a dream. Tons of storage items, cheap makeup if that's your thing, cute little plants which were a little more than the $1.75 per item - I believe they ran me $4.25 but love them. Snacks, drinks, bags, stickers, stationary. Tons of stuff and a big upgrade from a Dollar Tree - Daiso is the best! This particular location is the biggest in the area so I always try to hit this one up when possible. Big parking lot, as well with the easiest parking being downstairs. However I haven't seen any elevators and it's a pretty high climb. #DAISO4EVA

Only thing that went wrong is that their ? system wasn't working. Had to go find a near by store to get money out. Other that inconvenience, it's a nice store with nice staff and really great prices. Not to mention all the items throughout the store. Believe me, you'll be here awhile if you don't have an agenda.
