I was lucky to work at this location in the 90s when it was Savon Drugs. It was a unique and interesting store with great people. I was sad to find out it had closed but wasn't very surprised because it was a CVS. I visited once a few years ago and there was only one cashier and a manager in the store both of which had worked with. One at that store and the other at another store. There is no way you can give good customer service with only two people but that's CVS's business model.

Prescriptions always take soooo long to get even when there isn’t a long line. Hard to get in touch with the pharmacy over the phone and cancels medication delivery orders without a phone call. Would recommend the Target CVS nearby or on on 800 Grand instead.

Just had a dog lunge at my leg at the checkout and try to bite me. When I told the lady to get control of her dog. The cashier screamed at me to get control of myself. I told her it had just tried to bite me the cashier said it just learning. God knows what that means. She then screamed for me to leave HER store. The dog had been aggressive since the moment it entered the store, trying to bite another dog an barking aggressively at people. YET, the cashier chose to tell me to leave the store.

Not sure why there are a bunch of fake reviews for a CVS on here, but this location is clean and probably the only one in dtla where you don't feel like there is a high probability of being a victim of crime inside and directly outside.

I usually shop here theres a gentleman an older men very nice. I really like him one kid of has to yell at him i do feel bad but he's always so nice and helpful. its just a little far for walking . The atmosphere is usually good not like shopping at Walgreens or Rite aid where there's is always some type of drama, yelling, or fight going on. lol Those who live and shop around the area know what i'm talking about.

This place was a lifesaver for me recently, glad was around! I needed to have some passport photos taken fast and taken them back to Immigration across the street till 4:30pm. No one told me for months they needed that for my file, just after my interview that ended at 3 pm! Fun times! Suddenly, I was like a character in "Run Lola Run" or "After Hours", a woman on a mission with a clock ticking inside! I checked my phone and I saw a CVS near by, on Los Angeles street. This location is the least obvious one from the street, you can't see it! It's located inside an old outdoor mall (too bad I didn't have time to take photos) and it does have a subtle sign outside on the street at the intersection with Temple. I went inside the mall, looked around, found the CVS underground where it's located! Big location, with everything you need and a Photo Dept! Just one cashier working and the lady that was helped was taking forever (the clock was ticking for me!). I finally got helped after the longest transaction in the history and the lady called for somebody to come at Photo Dept to take my photo! So I had my photo taken, even if I was nervous to have my mask off, but everyone else had theirs on, paid the deed ($14) to the nice ladies who work here, cheerful and pleasant, also immigrants, so they got my pain and they were sweet and understanding to me. Then I ran off to meet my deadline, talking about stressful and intense! So, if you'll find yourself in my situation, you know where to go! CVS across the street, nice and convenient! Closed on weekends and after 5 pm daily! The ladies here rocked my world!

Deciding to revamp my review, since the last sounded prehistoric. This use to be the old Sav-On, for those of you under 50, was an old drugstore like Thrifty's - as in worlds best ice cream. Anyhow, this ones in dire need of remodeling or just tear & rebuild all new. However, the staff there makes a difference. They are helpful, friendly and go out of their way for their customers. Be kind to the workers there & allover in this time of COVID-19, as they are working hard trying to protect themselves in providing service, especially with the diminishing products such as disinfectant wipes & sprays/Clorox, hand sanitizers & toilet paper (of all things) that I witnessed a little bit of mass hysteria a few weeks ago before I stopped going to downtown LA, as they got a shipment of these items right before the COVID Ordinance went into effect. Not even a few minutes of unloading their shipment, a huge line formed & one of the ladies working there told me it got bat s^* crazy while people ran to the pallets ripping the plastic grabbing TP & the only few sanitizers they got in. This CVS is sort of a hidden secret in underground food court section of city hall, except for the people working right near it. I felt bad for the poor little elderly lady who resides in Little Tokyo wearing her mask in disappointment when she found out the items she needed were sold out within minutes. This location still has the best customer service.

Bob (pharmacist) and staff are amazing! Bob will remember you by name and is very knowledgeable! There are never any lines to wait and is a more personalized experience than your typical pharmacy.
