Horrible customer service. The lady I just got off the phone right now. Got mad when I tried asking about my child’s medication. She just responded with “yeah yeah go there” It a child’s medication I had certain questions. She wouldn’t even let me talk as if she is desperate to get off the clock. If a person is annoyed of answering questions about medication maybe being part of health care isn’t for you. I hope they remove her because her responses and carelessness can cause a person to be at risk.

It's times like this one wishes Yelp offered a zero star option, or even better, negative stars. If I had to choose between a pharmacy staffed by flesh-eating zombies or this CVS location, I'd choose the zombies in a heartbeat. Seriously. I've had two experiences at this location, and they've both been so profoundly bad I have half a mind to pay out of pocket to get a trophy engraved with "world's worst pharmacy." The first time at this location, I had a 102 degree fever, I was two and a half days into being bedridden from Covid, and I went to get a Paxlovid prescription. At the time, Pharmacists were authorized to issue Paxlovid prescriptions with proof of a positive test without the need for a doctor calling in a prescription. The head pharmacist on duty refused to issue me a prescription, however, citing that since I didn't have diabetes or heart disease, I was "too healthy" for her to issue a prescription. I went down the street to another CVS location the following morning and they issued me one no questions asked. This week, my preferred CVS location closed and my prescriptions were transferred to this location. Despite a note in my file that one of my prescriptions was be be filled by the brand-name drug only, this location filled the generic twice in a row. Both times I had to call and correct them, after which I had to wait a week for them to get the brand-name in stock. When I went to pick it up, they quoted me a price $125 more than the last time I'd had it filled at the CVS down the street. Even worse, when I agreed to their outlandish price, they discovered they lost the prescription they'd filled earlier in the day. It took them upwards of 45 minutes to locate it, during which time they offered no apology whatsoever. In the meantime, I asked one of the junior pharmacists to quote me a price for the generic, willing to make an exception if it got me out of there sooner. She quoted me $75. I told her it had never been more than $15 in the past. A second pharmacist came and informed me that yes, I was correct: it was $15. The same pharmacist quoted me a completely different price on the brand-name than the first pharmacist, then when I went to pay I was informed I owed a total different than either number quoted to me before that. Everyone has a bad day. We're all human. I get it. But the level of ineptitude I just witnessed at this location was staggering. Truly staggering. The manager basically buried her head in the sand while the rest of the pharmacists under her ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. The most disappointing thing is that the CVS I spent the past three years with was great. I never once had to wait more than a couple minutes. They filled everything on time and filled it right. If there was a discount available to me, they offered it without me asking. Frequenting their location was easy, efficient, and always pleasant. This location, however, is a waking nightmare. If someone at CVS corporate happens to read this, I'd suggest taking a good long look at this location, then clearing house, as the incompetence appears to be systemic. Given that everyone else in line while I waited seemed to be having similar experiences, I suspect my experience was representative of the status quo at this location. Needless to say, I'll be switching to a different location. In the meantime, if you've read this far, should you have any choice in the matter, please avoid this location at all costs. Life's too short.

I had to buy clutches for my son's injured feet about a few days ago and the only my option was to buy the open box clutches because it was backordered until next Saturday. I was not happy to buy the open box and asked for 50% discount since it had some worn out on the rubbers on the clutches. The team member asked the manager if I could get 50% discount, the manager said that 30% is the all he/she could give or I have to wait until next week. I did not have choice because my son needed the clutches that day, but buying worn out clutches seemed unfair. Maybe the Profit and Loss side for the CVS made a good impact, but on the customer's satisfaction could not be reached. I think CVS has such a great reputation for pharmacy needs with a long time history of business, CVS could do much better in order to reach the customer's satisfaction by not losing customers to other competitors such as Walgreens, Costco or Right Aid.

No accountability for mistakes or misinformation. They hold my medication hostage after I already had gotten a refill by my doctor. Just because it has codeine doesn't mean I'm abusing it . First I'm told it's out of stock then 2 days later I'm told it can't be released until Friday ( requested refill Sunday) in the mean time I'm literally coughing my lungs out no sleep for days and when I show up on Friday to pick up they tell me it's out of stock... like what ???!!! THEN they tell me they only have a " little " left is it ok to dispense that ?? Why wasn't I told that days before when they told me I had to wait until Friday to pick up ????? Unbelievable the lack of empathy these chain pharmacists have .. every answer to my question was " uh I don't know why you were told that " .. your not doing me a favor by giving me the "little " medication you have left , you're getting fully reimbursed by my insurance for the " little " medication you gave me ... do better CVS !!!

CVS has excellent customer service and a plethora of goods for purchase. I go to the RX and they are always prompt and efficient. Sale items are available and I really enjoy the selection of food, chocolate, drinks, medications, and household goods.

If I could rate them zero stars I would. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The wait is 60 minutes plus. My doctor approved the medications since May but when I got to the store they said my doctor had not responded. My doctor called and told them it was approved and they continued to refuse to give me my medications (mind you it was just calciferol I needed replenished). My doctor had to call this pharmacy a total of 4 times and told me it was a mistake on the pharmacies part but they refused to take accountability. Don't waste your time here.

RE: Store ID: #96864707 VENICE BLVD, LOS ANGELES, CA 90019I have been a customer at the above store since 2004. Each year, the condition of the store gets worse and worse. It is filthy, run-down and smells like feet. The carpets are soiled. The shelves are full of dust and only a quarter filled with actual products. I loathe going in this CVS to fill my prescriptions - I wait until the absolute last possible minute to go in.So many items are locked up and/or dirty or even unavailable. I feel both like a criminal when I walk in and like my money isn't valued. I used to easily spend $100-$150 each visit, lingering down the aisles each week. Now, I get in and out for my prescription - no lingering for me.While the staff is friendly, they all seemed depressed and unmotivated in such a dismal location. I don't blame them.Clean up this store and show the neighborhood you actually care about us and our business.

When CVS messes up an order or delivery, it takes several days to resolve and they have no human who can take care of it. They cannot step out of their computerized systems to resolve it. We needed our medication, and depended on it to be delivered YESTERDAY according to the tracking etc. Even calling the corporate office and escalating it did not help. They reached out to their district manager, DEEP PATEL, but he didn't return the call either. They are not allowed to call him and must email him only. I spent literally 8 hours trying to get this resolved and am still in limbo and honestly, my head HURTS. I didn't care if Uber-eats delivers the meds!! They could not coordinate with SHIPT who usually does their delivery because of the computer glitch. In the meantime, we are now missing 2 doses of the meds. The meds were ordered in enough time. This is ridiculous CVS--get your delivery situation together.

Every time is the same situation, big lines, always missing prescription or they don't have the medication. Unprofessional personal with bad attitude.
