The WORST people run this pharmacy. Inefficient and just plain inconsiderate. Go out of your way to avoid the unique headache that even their drugs can't fix

So rude. CVS is apparently rolling out an app for the pharmacy-no email, no one here saying a kind "if you would like to try our app, it makes our process smoother" none of that. Instead I was told "you NEED the app" I said I have no phone space and he repeats "well you NEED the app" sir I do not need the app I NEED my prescriptions, which are right there behind you. Apps are an option, CVS, not a necessary tool for people to be able to get their medications. I delete an app and scan their QR code and surprise-this target is a basement warehouse with no service-can't even download the app. So only then was he MAGICALLY ABLE to use the computer (like we have been for 40+ years) to get my prescription. A bunch of bull. I certainly hope he's not talking that way to my grandparents who don't even have cell phones. Switching my medications to a local pharmacy where I don't have to deal with all this debauchery .

We absolutely love our pharmacists at the CVS location insideTarget on Weyburn Ave Westwood Village 90024. They are the kindest, sweetest, most patient, most professional pharmacists we have ever come across at any CVS pharmacy we have ever been to. Most of the times I am helped by Amber who is absolutely lovely but all the rest of the young people who work there are just as awesome and kind.

So convenient to stop by this CVS inside Target where I often shop!Last winter, while I was inquiring to have my flu vaccine, I noticed the pharmacist - unmasked -holding a tissue wiping his nose and coughing, and minutes after sneezing and coughing again. I just said I had to go and left quickly to drive a couple of miles to my usual pharmacy.I strongly feel that any medical or pharmaceutical staff should not come to work sneezing or coughing, even if they think they feel good, have allergies, or an “old” cold.I am planning to have the latest recently approved covid booster and will avoid this cvs inside Target even though it is usually very quiet and the location is super convenient.

Horrible staff make this pharmacy unusable for me despite the convenient location

I'm a Physician, as much respect and cared value that I give to my patients, I also expect that the staff here practice that on a daily basis. Today, my partner and me got our influenza (flu zone) and covid-19 booster (Moderna) vaccine. The pharmacist (female) that applied the shots, was EXTREMELY unprofessional and disrespectful. She made both of us hurt, I think from an intramuscular she went to intraosseous. She rushed the injection and half of it came out through my skin. After finishing she wrote on a half ripped sticker the information of the vaccine and finally went inquired about the booster for my husband. She didn't even look at us and left running the room saying "oh just do it online".

The hardest working pharmacy in town. They always get my prescriptions refilled in a timely manner even when the CVS app confuses things. My insurance has changed a few times and they knew and charged my new insurance company before I showed up with my new card. Simply Amazing. Limited hours though.

Some staff are very rude, not knowledgeable and inefficient. The good thing is that you can shop around if you're waiting for your prescriptions.

It used to be a great pharmacy. My Doctor sent couple of priscriptions three days ago. Called them everyday. No answer. Finally someone answered the phone today and had no idea what I'm talking about. Badly managed.

Olayinka Taiwo is an incredibly rude and unprofessional pharmacist. On 8/28 I called to have my medication refilled, I was out of scripts but instead of simply saying that he tried lying to me saying "we don't hold multiple scrips for future use because it's illegal" (meanwhile I've been doing this for 15 years). He got extremely confrontational over the phone when I told him that was not true. Hours later my Dr sent over the scripts and I called to have them refilled but "they didn't have enough to completely fill my prescription" (something he failed to mention earlier). He refused to transfer it to the CVS down the road, or do a partial refill/emergency dose (as I was completely out) because it's "illegal" (it's not illegal, however a pharmacist can refuse to do this under "moral grounds"). After not receiving a notification after a few days I called on 9/1 to check on the status of my prescription. I was informed it hadn't been filled yet because the medication "requires insurance prior authorization" before it's covered (this is a standard process I go through yearly and it can take up to 1 month for the approval process so I use a goodRx discount card and pay cash in the meantime). I told him that it was fine that it got rejected and told him I was going to be paying with a discount card and will use my insurance for future prescriptions (a concept he seemed incapable of understanding). He lied to my face and over the phone stating I was required to use my insurance instead of using a GoodRx, insisting that the medication couldn't be filled without insurance approval. After informing him about my patient rights and his obligations to provide correct information to patients and follow the standard of practice (as defined by CA governing board of pharmacists), I was informed it would be ready in 10min. I went to pick it up an hour later and was told that it wasn't filled because "it needs insurance approval" I reiterated that I would be using a discount card and that's when he became inappropriately hostile. At one point he was yelling. While yelling he stated "I went to 8 years of school and can refuse to fill anyone's prescription." Furthermore Olayinka Taiwo threatened to not fill it because I "wasn't listening" (regarding insurance prior authorization), when in reality I told him it was perfectly fine to start the annual approval process while I pay cash for my meds this month (as I had already gone several days without my medication). It's unclear what led to the extreme escalation but regardless it's inappropriate and unprofessional to yell/threaten customers especially when your providing false information.

Fast and cheap. Far better than a standalone CVS. But limited hours.

This is the most efficient pharmacy that I have ever been to. I was helped by Mr. Olayinka, he is very knowledgeable and was able to get me my prescription in a timely manner (considering I was ill and in a rush). Mr. Olayinka Taiwo and his team went above and beyond to get me in and out as painlessly as possible!!!
