Went to this pharmacy for my dad prescription which was out of stock from his CVS branch. Staffs and pharmacist were helpful so I got his prescription for his diabetes under his insurance coverage. I wouldn't have been in this CVS for other shopping needs.

I love this store!! Everyone is really warm and helpful. They really try their best. I know the make up aisle is a little empty but that's because all of it would be stolen if they left it out. If you need any makeup products just ask! The pharmacy is awesome. Gary and Ash are my favorite pharmacists. They are all accommodating, hardworking people. I really get a small town vibe from this store despite them being in LA. I'm a regular and the store manager Oscar, always talks to me and makes me feel valued as a customer. Thank you CVS.

Pharmacy here is so much better than most locations in the city. Other CVSes make you wonder if humanity is dead and civilization is about to collapse. Harry and Fenicia are knowledgeable, professional, personable human beings. Thank you guys for being great people.

I have gone to the length of adding this CVS location as a Yelp listing, because the pharmacy staff is so incredibly warm, professional, and helpful. I have multiple CVS locations far closer and convenient for me to visit, but I make the trip to this part of town for my meds. Because Harry is a storybook pharmacist who is knowledgeable, personable, and actually seems to care about patients taking their medications properly. Because Fenicia is a smart, warm, and friendly person who notices if you've been shot back and forth between the drop off and pick up lines, and does her best to make sure you're not waiting needlessly.Others have been cool too, cashiers I've never spoken to sometimes smile and wave hello. What? Honestly, this is so rare in a CVS or any other type of retail establishment these days. Usually they are fine at best (you get your meds), and at worst (like the mega 24/7 CVS closest to me), there are grueling waits- heaven forbid you have a question, you're shuttled back and forth between multiple lines (waits)- and then the pharmacist is rude and gives you nonsensical, corporate-speak type answers that don't help in the slightest, and probably raise my blood pressure too.Pharmacies get busy these days, I appreciate this. People are sick like never before. I really appreciate the CVS Obama location, though, because even while they get busy here too, they never seem to lose their humanity. These guys warrant a shout out, because the service is exceptional.I found these guys because they were the only ones who had a particular med in stock one time. I meant to go back to the more convenient location as my home CVS. But after a few visits- I've decided the longer drive is worth the more pleasant experience. I can't believe I'm raving about a pharmacy, but props are definitely due.

They don't care. You can show up 1 minute late and they won't take you literally they'll tell you "we close at 7 and it's 7:01 no . Even if there's no one in line and even if they can save lives.

This is when tossed my merchandise back on the rack and I left CVS, moments ago. I'm looking all over for decent makeup product because they are woefully under stocked. It's really bad, like the Rite-Aid down the street from me in BH, right before they shut down.There are two cameras trained on customers in the cosmetics section, as is evidenced by the closed circuit monitors at eye level. A tone goes off whenever you get too close to one blind corner.I finally scavenge around and find a mascara and eyeliner and I am looking at the lipstick and then I hear it:"Customer assistance needed at Maybellne."I look around. Whole store full of people minding their own business shopping and nobody in the makeup section but me. I put down my $30 worth of product and leave the store. I have a flashback to the time, several years ago, when I was in this store and this security guard aggressively followed me and my child around. I told him to leave us alone and he kept showing up at every aisle, mocking me. I had forgotten about that. I'm gathering up my dignity, and never returning. I'm sure they're strangely relieved, one less paying customer to track as if she is a thief.

Every text from CVS to pick up my rx is a mocking reminder that I've been to CVS several times trying to pick up my rx only to leave empty handed. The pharmacy is a bloody mess. Yes I get they're overwhelmed and understaffed. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes on the phone and 30 minutes in the morning on a weekday or more. The pharmacist will sometimes not even look at your prescription status if they know it's a medication that's not in stock and on order, and you'll only find out when you come back a week later to find out that they haven't ordered it. Multiple times I've come into the pharmacy and left empty handed after waiting 15 or more minutes, since I apparently went through the wrong line, and when I go to the line they told me to the next time, I get told that yet again it's the wrong line. Perpetually busy and understaffed. Takes forever to get someone to answer the call button to get something from the locked shelves, and you're lucky if you need something that's not locked because everything seems to be locked, so don't come in expecting to just grab some deodorant and be out in 5 minutes.

When I was looking up the phone number for this CVS Pharmacy, I noticed that they have received some bad reviews in the past. In my opinion, this is a 5 star pharmacy, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.I only dealt with the actual pharmacy staff today, but it was a wonderful experience. When's the last time you could say that about picking up a prescription? While everyone there was friendly, one lady really stood out. Her name is Anais, and she was incredibly helpful. Also, she gave me my second Shingles vaccination and I literally didn't feel the needle go in at all. Amazing!! I know for sure where I'm going the next time I need a shot.It's so refreshing to go into a store and receive such warm and friendly customer care. So, if you are checking Yelp to see which pharmacy you should go to, don't let all the negative reviews sway your decision. This place is great!!

I came in here for some wound protection supplies and found everything I needed here! They have a variety of gauzes, sports tape, and gauze pads in the designated aisles. When I was paying, the cashier Marisela seemed rushed. Once the person in front of me finished paying, she looked at me and pointed to the counter, basically motioning for me to go next without saying anything. I thought that was a bit rude. After scanning our items, she seemed like she was rushing us to pay. Seemed like she didn't want to be there.

I had to place a pharmacy order. I called and they talked to me for 15 minutes to walked me through my options. Turns out my healthcare provider did not cover everything through CVS. But they made sure to explain that to me. Then they got my pharmacy prescription filled within 30 minutes. I see they're a lot of negative reviews, but I had a different experience. I think they do a good job. And they are well staffed at the store, and Pharmacy.

This is my local CVS and has got worse and worse. Today I was in there 2 people with no mask in line at the pharmacy and 4 people with their mask below their nose all in clear sight of staff and security and nothing done. It's amazing that a store that claims to be about health is doing nothing

Moved from another part of the city and was trying to transfer prescriptions to this location. I got someone on the phone over the weekend who said she couldn't fill my daughter's prescription and couldn't tell me why it couldn't be filled. I was told to call back later in the week and maybe it could be filled. Today online it says her med got filled there the day I called but wasn't available for pickup. I waited on hold for nearly 45 minutes today and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I'm now in the process of switching our prescriptions to a different location.
