I am an impatient person. The realization just dawned on me a few days ago. I began to recall my hurry in all that I do and my despise for those who dare hurry me. The mirror told me I was looking sloppy and drab. My hair is over-fried from the aggressive caresses of the flat iron, too often to call normal. I dialed the dusty ringer to reach my hairdresser but my call and subsequent text were unanswered. What's a gal to do? The scissors beckoned and I decided it couldn't be such a difficult task. Needless to say, I chopped at my hair without scrutiny and was left with a mismatched mop of "What the f@#k have you done, pendeJA?" I tried Supercuts on Friday. I waited at the Vons parking lot for it to be 9am on Friday, watching how many people like to pathetically hang out inside their cars in the morning with their stupid cellphones glued to their faces. I was one of them. Only to find out their hours changed and their lazy asses open at 10am now. Grrrrr!!! So, I searched for non-lazy salons in the vicinity that were open and found this little gem. I stopped by and made an appointment for the following day. It's a bit over my budget but I decided to treat myself. My recent luck has not been kind to me and I needed to treat myself. The place is noisy. Lots of chitter chatter going on as well as hairdryers and cool tunes in the background. I was glad if this because today, a Saturday, I fast and my gut was protesting quite loudly. My hairdresser was Charles, the only man in this establishment, apparently. I liked him. He's very gentle with his hands, which I sometimes confuse with inexperience, but that was not the case with him. He's very knowledgeable about hair and actually taught me how to flat iron my fine threads the proper way, to prevent further destruction. A very nice lad indeed. My haircut looks awesome and I look 10 years younger. Thanks Charles! Sorry I called you George. ;)

On 2/15/2024, I got my haircut done by hair stylist Jennifer. Highly recommend Jennifer as the stylist you want not only for a haircut but for her knowledge of hair and for her friendly demeanor while in her chair. Unfortunately, I couldn't provide a larger tip as I am unemployed on government subsidies. Thank you Jennifer!

I go here for Adrianna. If she moved, I'd follow her. However the salon is also really nice, clean and everyone who works there is super pleasant. I really like this salon

Adriana is not only the best stylist I've ever seen, but she's also super nice. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my look, and Adriana listens patiently and gives a thorough consultation. The end result is always way better than I could have ever imagined. Not to mention, she's super efficient. Thank you Adriana! I will be trusting you and only you with my hair going forward.

Relaxed, comfortable, very skilled stylists with modern sensibilities. I've never seen anyone get out of the chair without looking incredible. Jennifer is the absolute best, understands what you are seeking, willing to change it up, but gives you the real scoop. Very warm, friendly- I always enjoy my time with her.

Adrianna! So talented and joyful to be around. I have verrrry difficult hair. And I came in asking to correct some color issues and help my graying hair come in more naturally. Adrianna took such care to give me the best cut and color I've had in many years. Hope she stays in the neighborhood, she's fab!

This was my first visit to Cutlab studio, and I received a beautiful color and cut from Michael. He did a fantastic job all around, as well as reading me very well, as I'm not a super talkative person. The environment of the studio was comfortable and inviting and the same could be said about the other very friendly stylists as well. I would definitely recommend Michael as well as Cutlab. I'm thrilled with my new do!

I was able to snag an appointment same-day, which was super convenient for my planning-averse brain! Michael gave me a cut and color service, and I'm so happy about how it turned out. I asked for a s*** with bangs and a refreshed red-velvet cupcake gloss, and Michael did his magic!

Best haircut experience ever! My daughter wanted to get her haircut for her sweet 16! She had the best experience there! We were greeted and felt right at home! The vibe is happy and the studio is charming and the staff is very welcoming. Amber is one in a billion. The haircut is so perfect that even when it's out of the shower wet and not styled, it looks like it was styled!!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you Amber!

Jennifer was a very savvy hair consultant on style appropriate for your specific hair texture, your desired "image," and how you like to maintain your hair. For me, because my hair has a natural curl which I hate to style using gels/product daily, she steered me against a layered look which would simply poof out naturally. Instead she recommended a repeat of a previous neat-edged cut that I showed her an image of. She showed insight and sensitivity to what would work *for me*. That was modest of her and I really appreciated it. She didn't make it a show-off session about some whiz bang cut that she could pull off. Her care as well as the salon's sanitation (and COVID safety) felt really comfortable. It was a pleasure to go here and I got a discount for being a first time customer. I would definitely repeat.

I've been going to Jennifer since Nov 2019. She does a wonderful job! I get just a haircut, and Jennifer always makes recommendation on length and style. I've been trying to grow my hair out for years, and I'm finally seeing results! I don't color my hair, but I have seen some totally gorgeous color jobs while getting my cuts!
