“I needed a copy of an old check to prove I made a payment and was having trouble using the app. I went in to the branch inside the John Ferrero building and Nadia Vallecillos and Angel Rodriguez were amazingly helpful. Not only were they able to obtain the copy of the check, they did so after going above and beyond an effort I was expecting. “I had the occasion today to visit this branch as I did not care for the lack of courtesy that I got from my normal local Burbank branch. Straight away I was greeted with 23 ounces of respect and courtesy via a sincere how may I help you today? From this branch manager to his agents whom listened to my needs and took action to give me an update via a foreign collections matter. I left with a smile on my face knowing that they will follow through:) Easy to find parking, pleasant staff and again I was treated with a degree of courtesy which one would hope to get from their bank and where they've done business and or held an account for as long as Ive been working in the television and film industry. Looking back this same branch gave me my first loan way back when I was a runner for Epic and Vision Films in the 90s. Thus I have but good things to say and good thoughts to think of this branch and the sincere service they provide.”

“I can't say enough good things about my experience and California Credit Union and the Branch Manager, Richard Cowell. I have accounts in a number of large banks in the area and have always had problems when I need help. There is so much red tape and getting in touch with someone is impossible.Richard Cowell has helped me numerous times in the last few months. He is easy to get in touch with and has gone out of his way to help. Whenever I have had a problem, I send him an email and he usually responds within minutes. He just let me know about a great rate on a savings account of 4.75 percent without my money being tied up in a cd. He took care of everything for me and set me up. I really appreciate that you don't feel like a number at California CCU. They are great!”

“2/5/25: Building is nearly impossible to enter. YOU MUST ENTER OFF Los Angeles STREET through the staff parking lot. If you do not know this, you will waste 20 minutes walking around the stupid building. It is infuriating. God help you if you are disabled and trying to do this. Also, they basically just trapped all of their employees in a giant fire hazard, so they will all burn to death because they won’t be able to leave the building quickly enough, in the event of a fire. Staff at the bank is fine.”

She has been professional, very friendly, helpful, looks out for our best interest, makes financial recommendations, easy to talk to, attentive and other qualities we don't think are common with other bankers. Ms. Jimenez has provided that stability rather than having to deal with a new person every so often. The staff in the Palmdale Branch have also been very helpful, professional, friendly, etc. No request is frowned upon, like the request for a $2 bill which we know they don't always have. The interest rates on our loans have been very competitive. Constantly beating offers from other Credit Unions and banks.
