Extremely rude, anti-black, and unprofessional. Came in here tonight (looking completely presentable but that doesn't matter) and didn't receive a greeting, a hello, and introduction. Nothing! In fact it was clear that I was not welcomed. Even though I was extremely excited to explore the store and spend money, every question I had was met with inconvenience and annoyance. I asked if they carried a pair of pants in a smaller size and that was given with a cold "no". Then everything I touched, the employee came behind me and "investigated" the area. Mind you, I still haven't been greeted or even invited to ask any questions about the store. THEN...as I was leaving, the employee SNATCHED my bag from my side to "look inside of it" and once, obviously seeing nothing, there was no apology. Disgusting behavior!! Even if there was a slight chance or suspension I was stealing (which there was no real time to make that assumption given I was already labeled a criminal before I even stepped 2 feet into the store with the obvious unwelcomeness), that is NOT how you handle it. I've never experienced something like this in my life. So if you are a black woman, YOUR MONEY IS NOT WELCOMED HERE!!! Absolutely horrified!

Unfortunately our experience as a small business vendor selling to this store has not been positive. I met Donato at Drag Con in May 2022, he loved our bling jackets, so I took an Uber to meet Cosmo at the store after Drag Con was over. He wanted all the jackets I could give him on consignment, but I only had one (thankfully). We had a written consignment agreement that upon sale I would be paid. I was told after a month or two that it had sold. However it is now January 2023 and I have not been paid. I have texts showing repeated requests for payment. I would never do business with them again, small businesses should take care of other small businesses.

I was in here 20 years ago. The owner asked to "see my cookies" and said he'd "hook me up like cable". I wasn't sure what all that meant but it was very funny. When I went in the stall to try something on it had saloon style doors that showed everything from the waist down. No wonder! It was quite the experience. Cool place!

Rude owner. I was just looking around and he happened to pay attention to me a lot. When I said I am not interested in any item yet he said I didn't understand fashion and I didn't have money... He yelled at me even after I left the store =/

I went into the store over the weekend because it looked really cool. I was right, everything was absolutely amazing and one of a kind! The sale associate that was there had asked me what I was looking for and I just told them "Oh, I'm just looking" because I honestly just was. It seemed like they didn't like my answer and continued to mumble something. I couldn't really hear because the music was so loud. I turned to my boyfriend to ask him if he had heard what they said and we could only grab bits and pieces. I also wasn't sure if they were talking to me or to themselves because they would mumble something while making eye contact but then look straight forward. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in there. They were not friendly at all and I'm positive I saw them rolling their eyes. They clearly didn't want us in there so we left. What a shame. Such great stuff but maybe they don't want people shopping there??? If I could, I would give 0 stars.

They don’t screen any of their stylists since Covid. Booked them for my wedding and had such a terrible experience from the beginning to the end. Scheduling was a mess, their team doesn’t know what they’re doing. Day of my wedding one of the hair stylists is unbelievably rude to me on the phone when she arrived, then talked about herself the entire time while doing my families’ hair. I wish we had just found some local stylists and artists.

The clothes are ok, but wayyy overpriced ($600 for a fringe Jean jacket) and the owner is cxnty. The owner follows you around the WHOLE time and will keep pressuring you to look at the most expensive and gaudy stuff. Not a very intuitive stylist, as I kept saying the outfits he was trying to style me in were not my style.After deciding to put down the jacket, the owner told me that drag performers must not make much money. How can you claim to make custom drag outfits but not be aware that many of us make hundreds per gig? He seemed to not have much knowledge of the drag scene. I was considering one of the bodysuits (still overpriced - $250 for a stoned bodysuit that you would see at Hamburger Mary’s is not it) but he snatched it out of my hands and told my friends and I to leave.It wasn't a total waste of time though. I got lots of ideas for outfits to make and some pictures for reference! Obviously will have to be elevated and adjusted to my style a bit, but good ideas to start with. You're better off going to your local drag queen and getting the same stuff with a good attitude and for a reasonable price ?

I had the worst experience when i came in and had to deal with some extremely rude, racist employee named Elaine! Not only was she completely not knowledgeable about anything fashion related i overheard her under her breath making remarks about my ethnicity and not being able to afford anything in the store,laughing and eye rolling!!! That KAREN cost you big as the next store i went into I dropped 5k and was greeted and treated with respect by an actual professional stylist and i actually loved a few pieces in this store but refused to buy anything after being disrespected! i would suggest hiring people who can represent your brand and have some respect for your clientele!!!

I did not have a good experience when they designed my outfit. Was poor quality and they didn’t communicate to me what they were doing before they did it which caused issues pushing the deadline back and resulting in the outfit not being made right and having to do a lot of changes. Also a lot of the things I told them to fix they never fixed and once they got my money they ignored all my calls and texts. They kept upselling me when I told them my budget and then got upset at me saying they lowered the price significantly and that their usual clients pay them at least 10k per outfit and then told me they’re not going to accept my future custom order. I made it clear that if they can’t do it to my budget then don’t accept it but instead they upselled me over double my budget and did a poor job and was rude. After only one wear, the fabric is already worn out. The shine on the fabric came off immediately and edges are frayed.

Every time I come here I get styled into an outfit id never have considered otherwise and I end up buying at least a part of it. The pieces I come home with get used over and over again and always get compliments! Coming to this shop is an experience that I like to save up and splurge on :) thank you to Cosmo and the team for helping me feel beautiful
