I was a regular here before the pandemic. Now they no longer offer cp2 after 530 and I never get out of work so early. There used to be 730p class and 9p restorative class. Other studios like studio city offer later classes and I don’t see why Hollywood location can’t do that. Also, the studio hygiene seems to be getting worse. It doesn’t get cleaned well after each class. About the studio renovation last year, I thought they would renovate the class room and I was somewhat excited, but they just got rid of a locker in the front area and nothing for renovated in the studio, that was a joke. Then often times the room doesn’t get enough steam and temperature.I stopped my membership now. What’s the point.. It no longer serves me. Bring back more late classes and keep the room a little more clean…

Disgusting!! I've seen teachers clean floors with " Swiffer Jet " spraying chemicals on the floor where everyone is exercising in 110 degrees heat . Other thing is they closed down the Hollywood studio for renovations and told no one until five days before closing . Now they are forcefully charging me full membership as if I had something to do with their decision to close down the studio . Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional staff on the phone ( I guess they are in Denver ) . Impossible to communicate in civilized manner . They are trying to tell me that their cancellation policy is 30 days yet they told the customers five days before closing . They are forcing me to pay for a month that the studio is going to be closed . Completely outrageous!! I firmly believe that this behavior is a crime since basically they are now stealing money from their customers with pretense " well its written in contract that you have to cancel 30 days prior " but what in this case when I never planed on canceling but studio closed down ?? We are just supposed to shut up and willingly hand over hard earned money ? Is that it ? As is , I would not recommend this business to anyone. It left very bitter taste .

CorePower yoga must be in debt & struggling bc my social media ads are constantly pushing to try a week pass. After finally taking up the week trial, I tried a class in Hollywood despite the horrible reviews.I was greeted by Esme who had a negative & patronizing tone of voice (its 7am, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt it's just early) So I explained Esmer that the last time I had an account, I didn't get to attend my first class because no one would answer the phone to help with parking. If you call this location, it just sends you to their Denver voicemail. I had a loooong talk on the phone with their customer service to see if I could redeem on another number & the person on the phone approved since I never got to see the studio. I never used the free week trial but my name is in the system. Upon leaving the studio, I get an email saying my account has been deactivated despite her saying to my face that she will honor the free week. Luckily I could tell by her energy, this studio is not a place I'd like to return to. It's such a bummer the yoga scene here in LA has people like her, but maybe it's just Hollywood and there is hope at other studios On the bright side The teacher we had was a substitute and it was his first class teaching-- he was a sweetheart and didn't have an "I'm better than you" attitude. Core power yoga, please hire better managers that actually do their due diligence to understand the situation before pulling the trigger & cancelling a trial week. I should've known it was gonna be a sh*t show working to get an account with the customer service.Namaste No parkingNo locks for lockers must bring your own

Teacher quality has gone down over the two years i have been a member.Had a teacher leave twice through a class yesterday.Shown up to classes with no show teachers.Constant cancelling of classes.Just a comepletly disappointing experience the longer I have been a member. And my husband will be cancelling too.I have also introduced members and they some how pay less monthly than i do.Feels like a corporate bussines with absolutely no soul. No one ever answers the phone and corporate takes days to get back to you.All in all! Just easier to walk across the road to hot yoga 8 which is a much nicer experience

The team here is awesome starting at the top with Esme who is always super helpful and friendly. There are so many great teachers here that provide a lot of variety and bring their personal style to their classes. Parking is pretty easy and the facilities are nice.

Mostly all studios I have been to have been so kind and welcoming, including this one. I had Sam who was a pleasure. I am new to yoga and to Core Power Yoga in general. While mostly all locations in Los Angeles are great, I will say with caution: stay away from the BH studio. I have never been treated so horribly by an instructor. Again, this is not in relation to Hwood as this studio rocks.Ok, so after yoga I always like to shower and get rid of all the germs before getting in my vehicle. Guys, tell me why on day 1 at the BH studio while I am showering I hear some type of knock- not to mention someone bad turned the lights off on me while I had began to shower. I ignored it and continued with my zen. Only to hear a loud knock again 10 minutes later and a woman saying my name. I respond and it turns out the instructor who had just been so upbeat and peppy in class with me now had a harsh cold tone to her voice and was passive aggressively condemning me for showering stating "Im waiting for you to lock up, (it was 10am) Im the last instructor until this evening" oh I respond quickly gathering my belongings and letting her know Id quickly dress so she could leave. As im doing just that she starts opening and slamming each locker next to the shower until I opened the door and came out dressed with my hair soaked unbrushed and my sandals dripping wet. She literally rolled her eyes at me turned around and dashed straight for the front door. I try running behind her to apologize as I was still confused as to what was happening and why I was being hurried out. With the coldest and most condescending attitude she tells me hurry i need to let you out so I can lock the front door. When I got to the top I asked which door I should use and she rolls her eyes again and says i don't know i just need you out so i can lock up behind you and leave. Wow wow wow! Thank goodness Hollywood is not like this- stay away from the oriental trainer Cyndee at BH !

Went to CorePower for my first yoga/fitness class since before covid and it was so awesome!! Carlos led the class with grace, skill, and humor, and I am so happy I went! To be honest, I was nervous at first but the environment was so supportive and welcoming, and my anxiety melted away as soon as we got into the movements. Definitely recommend this place!

Nope nope nope nope. Wouldn't recommend. The studio I had class in was SO dirty. It was uncomfortable. All of the mirrors were filthy and there were weird stains on the ceiling lights and tubes. The fake wood floor had bubbles and was lifting and it was just overall really eerie. Every time I was laying in my back for a pose I couldn't focus because I was starting at the stains on the lights wondering what kind of filth it was and how long it has been there. Mind you I am the furthest thing from a germaphobe. But the place was just uncomfortably dirty. And be mindful if you have a dog allergy because they have a dog that walks around the studio. It's a nice dog though.

Katie was amazing! She took the time to make sure my individual practice was aligned - giving me the upmost attention without making me feel under speculation. She has such a kind, patient, and fun loving spirit. Can't wait to take one of her classes again!

GREAT place. Love the variety of studios. Josiah was a great instructor. It was challenging and sweaty. I enjoyed his flow for sculpt. It was a challenging burn with great music. The facilities are great. When visiting LA, I've been to the studio 2x and would return because of the location and the facilities. They have 3 studios and a large reception area with merchandise to browse and buy.

Its honestly just the experience I was looking for. I have had a gym, been downloading apps, bought all this home equipment & nothing has felt more motivating than this one class with Kristin! I will definitely be recommending her, CorePower Yoga & come back myself. Thanks!
