The prints that i’ve have done at Contact surpass my experience at other photo labs. I really appreciate their attention to detail, quality and customer service. Chris, the head printer, really knows what he’s doing. Love these guys!

Terrible experience. They did not have my prints ready (they were not packed for pick-up), they had forgotten about my appointment, and they rolled the prints when I asked for them to be packed flat. When I pointed out these issues, the manager belligerent and said, "You haven't paid for them." That was correct, as they had not bothered to send an invoice. Even though I was willing to pay on the spot, the manager told me to leave and not come back. I used Contact in the past with no problems, when it was under different management. This manager is awful. I won't be back.

Worst experience I have had at any business, ever. I ordered prints, scheduled a pick-up time and went to get them. When I arrived, on time, they had clearly forgotten that I was coming. The prints had not been prepared as I had asked. When I complained about the mistakes, the owner rudely exclaimed, "You haven't even paid for these." I reminded him that he had never sent me an invoice. I told him that I was prepared to pay now, but he didn't even seem to hear me. He called me rude. Apparently, it is rude to point out mistakes and express dissatisfaction. Finally, he told me to get out and not come back. All this in under two minutes time! He even followed me out the door in a threatening manner and yelled, "Kiss my ..." I NEVER called him a name nor did I use a vulgarity. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Have made inkjet prints and scanned here multiple times, easy and no fuss. Don't expect a ton of customer service, you need to be able to troubleshoot yourself and know how to identify basic issues like banding yourself. In-person customer service is not always knowledgeable but for major issues, the tech is on top of it and very communicative via email.

I waited weeks for a response to my two emails sent so that I would not have to write a review, but never received one response, so... here it goes. I made a reservation for a particular time (I was under a deadline) when I got there the tech, Gary, informed me that there was someone who was going to only take 10 more minutes on the epson that ended up to be an hour then either the printer software was not up to date or the printer was broken, it was not making black and white prints, so I spent the whole day trying different things and I am an extremely experienced printer, so I knew something was wrong. I informed Gary, who had only said that I probably was doing it wrong (I was not), finally at 5:00pm (I got there at 11am) he got someone from the front to do a test on the printer for black and white. Low and behold, I was correct that the printer was not working correctly. I had spent all day waiting. Then Gary told me to come in on Saturday because I was unable to get anything done, I show up and he says that someone else will be there during that time and that he had never said for me to come in and I should "know better" so I am very very upset. He then gets very defensive about the fact that he had said not once but three times the day before that I could come in (he even said don't worry I got your back thank you for being patient). He calls me a very rude person for stating these facts. I also spoke with someone else that works in the front (who i mentioned earlier) who was going to fix the printer for me by Saturday so there were at least 2 people that knew I was coming in. I'm sorry but who treats people this way? I drove 45 minutes to get there and for nothing. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a printing lab. Luckily I have friends with printers who are now allowing me to use them until I get my own Epson printer so I will never have to deal with the customer service at this lab again.

I was so exited to use this place because I am dying to go back into the darkroom I called and they say I can walk it just to see the place , then I drive 30 minutes to find out I cannot even get in I feel Very disappointed because I was so exited to do this . I am so glad I didn't purchase the workshop and the Lab times online I just was hopping to start working in the dark room very soon Huge sad dissatisfaction and disappointment

Printing, dark rooms, and scanner rental services. They have a flextight Imacon scanner for rent at $45 an hour, which is relatively reasonable. It's also next door to a bar / restaurant, so you can get some food and a drink after you're done.

Came here a few times and always have a great experience. The c-prints I had them run for me are beautiful and the service is incredible. Today I went in to run a print by myself on their large format Epson and, because I'm a total idiot, kept messing it up. Sal was super helpful in showing me the ropes of the machine and giving me tips about loading and storing my paper for future use. He even stayed open 15 minutes late on a Saturday to make sure I got my job done, which again, was delayed solely by user error on my part. Anyway, labs like this are super hard to find in LA and they don't mess around with quality or customer service. It's the only spot I'll go.

Definitely a good place to get all your photo printing needs done. I'm just getting into printing my own things, and I felt a little intimidated about it at first- so I'm really happy to have found this place! They helped me figure out all the right dimensions and details of it all. The staff definitely knows what they're doing, and are so helpful and friendly on top of that, which is a huge plus. The space itself is even so nicely done with plants all around! Clean, organized, and overall nicely designed :-)
