Excellent customer service; just like how banks used to be in the past.

Called about a check that they issued and the bank supervisor was incredibly rude, constantly interrupted, and lied saying that they couldn't do anything even though a different branch fixed the problem without any issues.

This bank claims to be the best bank and it claims to have the best customer service - they are in denial when they falsely claim to be a good bank. In fact this bank has the most horrible customer service that includes hanging up on customers when customers call about issues. They hang up on you so many times and get you so angry that they continue to hang up on you for being upset at their awful service. honestly I don't think upper management knows about the misconduct of their employees since their complaint system is so far from customer's reach. It is as though they don't want to hear complaints so they continue to believe that they are a good bank. They either hang up on customers because they don't like the customers tone of voice or they pretend they are helping by transfering the calls to a voicemail.

I hope none of my FB friends ever have the misfortune of having to deal with this bank. 10 years ago my mother had a document drawn up naming me power of attorney, should she ever become incapacitated. Well that day has come. She was recently diagnosed with dementia. The Dr report says its severe. She will now require a nursing home environment for the rest of her life. I need to travel to Houston to make sure she is placed in a safe, clean, home and receives proper care. I need to see her financial situation to see what she can afford on her social security payments. Unfortunately she has an account at Comerica, and they are refusing to recognise my power of attorney. I showed them a copy, and no, no, no, a copy simply won't do. They want the original document with the original signatures and notary stamps. The document is 10 years old, and I have no idea where the origial document is. So I got in touch with the attorney who drew up and notarized the original document. He tells me i shouldn't need the original, but he will provide the bank with a certified copy and send it via overnight mail. This was Tuesday, today is Friday. After checking the post office tracking website it tells me that the document was deliveries yesterday. I call the person i have been dealing with at Comerica, and the best he can come up with, is that is probably in the mailroom and he should have it this afternoon. So aside from the fact that i have to deal with this extremely difficult situation, this souless corporation is making me jump through hoops to get this done. If I never have to deal with these people again, it would please me immensely. Sorry for the rant.

I walked over to this bank for a roll of quarters ($10). The teller a older woman refused to help me because I don't have an account with the bank. I was requesting $10 in quarters. This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard today. She wasn't apologetic at all, very dry and just unfriendly. When did banks refuse service to a paying customer? What is the bank going to lose if they decide to provide me quarters? Now, that I've seen their yelp results.. I am not the only one that is disgusted by this bank. I can understand. Do not open an account with this bank it's not customer friendly. Donna

Extremely exasperated after multiple errors from Comerica; posting checks to the wrong account, sending out incorrect statements month after month despite being alerted to the fact, charging overdraft fees when the account was not overdrawn and all round general incompetence. I took it up with the area manager and asked her to waive the annual fee out of principle and also because we'd been told the fee would always be waived. She said she wouldn't do it and when I threatened to close our account, informed me that there would be a $500 early termination fee. Which of course had never been discussed with us. Awful.
