I came in with an issue with a Citi credit card, not an account. Even though they couldn’t do much about my issue, their teller, Aria, waited on hold for me with the general line for quite a while. The effort alone was much appreciated.

Nice staff but not very helpful. Branch staff not knowledgable about Citibank's products and services.

DO NOT BANK WITH CITI! After 18 years of relationship with them and a large mortgage which qualified me for free Gold status, they no longer count all that interest they make off my mortgage as worth $30/month in fees. Citi started charging me fees without my knowledge or agreement and counter to the deal they originally made me to lure me there with my mortgage. The manager I spoke to, for wealth management was so rude as was the local wealth mgmt rep. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO a local bank! I hear Bank of CA and First Republic are fantastic to customers

I spent days trying to respond to Citiban promotion. This is a scam bank. I spoke with 16 people over four days. Many promises of Supervisor's call backs - I was ghosted three times! No callbacks.

Worst experience, repeatedly incompetent bankers and tellers. Always a wait even though they are with no other customers. Wish I could give zero stars.

I left Citibank after 20 plus years. I had a CD renew over a Holiday weekend. I was given wrong information about the Branch being open by a Citibank Representative, and when I went there it was closed. So I went back the following Monday to change my CD account and they said it was to late (by 1 day) and if I wanted to cancel it there would be a penalty of $184.00. I spoke to the managers to no avail. Moved my business to First Republic and they gave me $500 just for opening a new account. They don't deserve my business. Good riddance.

Went to my Citibank in Brentwood & noticed everyone was new. I went to the 1st glass office of Narine Tarverdi who was alone and asked her for the manager I dealt with for years and she said he never worked there. I told her yes he did as he opened my accounts. She insisted I am wrong so I asked her to open a Trust account for me & I had all the legal documents. Immediately she rose from her chair and said : You can't just come in here for that. You have to make appointments and it takes over an hour. We are very busy & have no appointments. We have to send things to legal. You just can't come in for that. ...... ( all with attitude as she looked at me) I became the same and asked how long she worked at this branch. She said over 2 months. I said who was the previous manager and she said the mans name I asked about who is now in Palos Verdes. I told her she was rude to tell me he didn't exist and with that she took my legal papers and threw them across her desk at me and said Get Out I don't have to deal with you. I told her she cannot throw me out as I've done nothing wrong. She threw my parking ticket at me and said No Validation either. I sat down calmly after that and said I'm not moving until you validate. She took the sticker and threw it at me and then said standing " GET THE F*** OUT OF MY OFFICE" she went to her glass door as everyone in the small branch could see & hear and opened it and pointed to the exit. She denied saying F*** but kept repeating in front of everyone yelling GET OUT OF MY BRANCH AND YOU CANT COME BACK! I told her loudly for the crowd that She Does Not own this bank and as I've done nothing ,cannot throw me out. I told her I have $30,000 to deposit , but she wouldn't stop pointing and repeating GET OUT... I looked at the employees and they saw I did nothing harmful... but out I went .. Just got off the phone with the bank and reported Narz as they call her..... Wild when a 25 year old very very proud girl feels she runs everyone as the new Boss. My Marina bank branch just told me I could have walked in and been done in 40 minutes. Off to the Marina !!!!

Worst branch! Stay away!!! I opened a Citi Priority account with $55,000. I was offered 50K Citi thank you rewards if I opened a new account and spent $750 with 60 days and had two auto bill pays. The account was opened by a very nice man however it took him over 1 1/2 hrs as it was his first week on the job. The mgr Norris came several times to assist him. I nicely explained that I was leaving in two days for a month-long humanitarian trip to Kenya and that I had very little time. Finally, it was finished. The next day I get a call that I must return to the bank and the transfer didn't go through, something on their end hadn't been processed correctly. I had no time for this but agreed. I met with Norris and she promised to handle my account. Long story short, when I returned and tried to use my debit card it was blocked. Customer service said the branch had put a block on it. When I called Norris she said she did nothing and that I had to call customer service again. After the third call they explained to me that something wasn't filled out properly. They said they asked the branch to revise however the branch never responded. They sent Norris another message today along with an email to her area director William Fitzpatrick. I just received a call from Norris saying that Citi had closed my account. I told her that was not so, that they told me she needed to update a mistake and all was good. She then changed her story to say she decided to close my account. When I ask why she said I don't like the manner in which you spoke to me. I was flabbergasted, I treat everyone with respect! She is sending me my money back. Now, I need to get my 50K bonus miles as the offer expired. I'm more than furious, I've never ever experienced just unprofessional in my life! Stay away at all cost and read other reviews, I wish I had!

Awful staff! Lazy and disrespectful, even though I'm Citibank gold. Take your money elsewhere, but if you can't, at least find yourself another branch.
