DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS CARD OR ANY CITIBANK CARD I applied for this credit card within Home Depot under the 18 month 0% APR promotion and made consistent timely monthly payments that were taken directly from my checking account. Citibank (the credit cards sponsor) was making withdrawals from my bank account for two months and then suddenly stopped. I went into the Home Depot store to ask why the money was not being taken out of my account and was told that my account had been frozen and that I would have to contact Citibank. When I contacted Citi's customer service I was told that "the account owner of this card has passed away" and despite explaining to them that I was the account owner and confirmed my social and all of my personal information, I was still told that they couldn't accept payment because the account owner has "passed away". I called numerous times afterwards and was told the same thing by Citibank's customer service and was told that I would need to provide proof that I was still alive and get a letter from Social Security proving that. I tried on numerous occasions to call the Social Security office which was closed due to COVID and eventually got a hold of somebody who stated that the Social Security office could not provide a letter stating that I was alive, rather only provide a letter stating that I was deceased - which they obviously confirmed was not the case as it was not in their system that I had passed away and that I was speaking to them directly. Over the course of me trying to resolve this issue, I received a letter from a collection agency looking for payment and eventually got hold of a customer service representative who indicated that my account was "accidentally" labelled as deceased on my account and that they would try to fix the issue with the credit reporting agencies on their end. As a result of Citibank's mistake, my credit score dropped from being in the 800's to the 600's which significantly impacted my ability to apply for a mortgage on a home that my family was looking to purchase and put me and my family through a lot of stress for nothing. After admitting their mistake Citi did not do as much as to even apologize or make the situation right for me and my family and only requested an immediate minimum payment within less than a week. None of my other credit cards reported me as being deceased and Citibank singlehandedly ruined my credit and for a time, my ability to purchase my family a home. I have audio recordings proof of the conversations between me and Citibank's customers service. My family and I have been suffering for the past 6 months going between the Home Depot store and talking to Citibank customer service and it's been made clear that neither company cares about their customers or to rectify their mistakes appropriately. Do not apply for this card or any card with Citibank unless you're looking to risk ruining your credit due to their negligence. Osama Abdelfatah

We use this Citibank because Stephan is Da Man. Not too crowded and small facility.

My nearest Citi location. We came here to sign up for a joint checking account and get a new credit card. We had a great experience and lovely appointment. Plenty of parking out front. Highly recommend to anyone in need of good service! :)

What a welcome surprise. They are open again and resuming business. The 3 gentlemen working there are congenial, and very efficient at their craft. The place is serene and welcoming with lots of parking and no riff raff. My Teller this a.m. was Stephan and I am very pleased., hence a 5 STAR *****.

I've been with Citibank for nearly 11 years now. I've conducted business with them and have had numerous transactions done with tellers, bankers, management, etc.. I've always been treated fair and have Citibank has always met the level of satisfaction to me. However, this review isn't based just on "Citibank" it's based on the Branch Manager/VP: Josephine Rivera. I was referred to Josephine by a personal banker for a transfer. Upon arrival I was greeted with the upmost respect. Not only did she make me feel as though I'm a valued client, but she made me feel as though I'm "family" and it was genuine. I don't know how Citibank treats their employees, but I hope she's treated well. She brings respect, integrity, and value to this brand. It was more than a please working with you today Josephine. I appreciate everything. You're assessment is worth more than the 5 stars provided by Yelp. I honestly mean that.

Banking with Citibank has been absolutely delightful! I had the pleasure of speaking with Josephine the Branch Manager when calling in to recognize two of her employees and I am a firm believer that greatness ALWAYS comes from the top down and let me tell you talking to Josephine was a confirmation of this! She was so kind, genuine and has such a uplifting spirit! Speaking to her was like speaking to a long time friend she made sure to ask me to stop by her branch to introduce myself and I could sense how sincere she was. I called one day needing to go in for an urgent banking need the same day and Sarah answered. Sarah was simply wonderful! It was a Friday and she said come in now. I headed right over and let her know I had limited time and let her know what time I needed to be out by and she got me out in half the time. Her service was efficient and exceptionally impressive. I am LOVING the consistency I get throughout the Citibank experience. THANK YOU!

This is truly the worst branch I've ever had to do business with. The most unhelpful, rude tellers that are uninformed and unhelpful and rude. Horrible experience today.

I've been a customer for many years and the international service is very good. However, some branches have great service and some really not. This branch has a really bad customer service. There is one teller who is knowledgeable and is helpful, the rest not at all. Management sucks there.

This Citibank is my local Citi. It's conveniently located by Franklin/Los Feliz and it's a recently opened one. The place itself is made neatly. You can see from the photo I took that they have plenty of office spaces, both private spaces and open computers for everyone to access. All the staffs are nice, from the tellers to the bankers, they will greet you with a smile and respect. The beauty of this place is that none of the staff gave any hint of judgement when they see your bank account (I have had experienced otherwise). I think the greatest perk with this branch is free coffee. If you have done business with them, you are eligible to get free coffee or water. That's an A-plus deal. Other than that, they have three 24-hour ATM's where you'll need to use your card to access it after-hours. The place feels safe and secure. The only qualm I have about this place is parking. Unlike their previous location, their parking is considerably small and is shared with their neighbor. The bank is right beside a laundry shop and they occupy a couple of slots. Unfortunately, if a big armor truck occupies the space, there's almost no way that all parking spaces can be occupied.

Had the best time banking here, I was dreading going to the bank after months being locked out of my online banking and couldn't get access to my account after making multiple phone calls. The staff asked me what I need right away and sent over Josephine Rivera to help me. She was so helpful and patience! She wasn't annoyed at any point and helped me regain access to my account. I would recommend just asking for her!

One of my clients has a business account with Citibank- the last time I went in to make a straight deposit they told me I couldn't deposit cash and coin because they have no way of counting the coin; mind you I had rolled all the coins that were able to fill a roll but still had a lot of loose coin. NO WAY OF COUNTING COIN? Either they need give their staff a little more credit or hire a better staff that can COUNT - they are a BANK -they should be able to COUNT. I was told to take my coin and go to Albertsons and have them count it and bring back my deposit. Good luck Citibank...

I currently bank with Chase, but was planning on moving my funds over to Citibank because they have a wider ATM network. I walked into this branch today and a female teller with shoulder-length reddish-brown hair asked me in the least welcoming way if I needed help. Call me old-fashioned, but if you are in an industry dealing with customers face-to-face, it's common courtesy to stand up and greet them, even if you're going to sit down again. However, this woman stayed seated and had the most condescending expression and tone of voice with me the entire time I interacted with her. If that wasn't bad enough, she flat out LIED to me that the minimum opening deposit was a $100. THAT IS A LIE!!! The minimum opening deposit for a REGULAR Citibank checking account is $0! Not to mention, she didn't ask what type of account I was planning on opening. That is the shadiest thing I've ever witnessed in a banking institution! To add insult to injury, she said I needed a gas bill or proof of residence other than my driver's license. At this point, I was completely confounded. I have worked in a bank and I have banked with several different institutions, and never once was I ever asked to show proof of residency with anything other than my driver's license. This bank is a scam! Do not bank here! I'd rather eat the higher fees at Chase than deal with crap customer service and blatant lies to an institution that handles people's hard-earned money. Clearly, Citibank is more about quantity over quality. Go bank somewhere else because this bank doesn't give two shits about their customers or their money. You just lost a huge chunk of cash I was planning on depositing and investing in at your institution, Citibank! And, to the teller who was absolutely ZERO help, go get another job! You are a liar and a cheat!

They never answer their calls. They always just switch you to the call center. They're either understaffed or they don't want to be bothered. You can never speak to a human being. And when you do, by going through the 10-minute call center prompts, they say they will call you back but you still never hear from them. Finally got to speak to a branch manager and told her about the issue and she said she had no idea about what I'm talking about or about how the phone system works.. She said I'm the first one who's complained about it. Guess what?!?! maybe she doesn't hear any complaints because nobody can get through!!! It's taken me 2 days! They are one of the few branches with a notary public who you need to make an appointment with but how do you do that if you can't speak to anyone and you get routed to the call center? I also bank with Wells Fargo and their customer service is 1000X better!

Rude, inexperienced clerks with very poor communication skills. I've gone here multiple times just because it's close to my house, and every time it's left me upset. I have multiple accounts with Citibank and feel like moving everything to another bank because of the poor training and treatment from this terrible branch.
