The transfer from First Republic to Chase was handled very poorly. Clearly not an international bank!

Their ATM next to Eataly in the mall ate my debit card… the screen and buttons were unresponsive and my card was locked in. When I called customer service, they told me to leave my card there and they would send me a new one for $5. They were unwilling to waive the fee. Don’t understand how they couldn’t waive the fee for their ATM eating my card but ok.

Maybe I was just lucky, but when I visited that day, I encountered two very friendly ladies who helped me retrieve my pin and patiently taught me how to check my bonus progress. I’m very grateful to them for providing a good mood on a rare rainy day in LA.

Closing down a well-known Chiropractor's account due to their religious beliefs is pretty messed up if you ask me. Will be moving my money elsewhere. Will encourage others to do the same.

Super beautiful building, very clean location. The employees could barely be bothered to answer a question and were absolutely unwilling to help my husband and I. They didn't even stop their personal conversation while we were inside.

Very respectful staff. They address yr concern immediately and answer questions right away. The banker takes his time to meet yr satisfaction and answer all questions you have. My banker remembered me for new years and showed a gesture of appreciation for choosing them as my bank. I felt like he is not just a banker to get business but a human being to acknowledge me. Very knowledgeable individuals and corrected my mistake.

Honestly not happy with Chase anymore. They don’t notify you when you need certain documents notarized just to get a stop on a lost check, even when you call ahead and give them all the information they need. They aren’t open after 5, which most branches is East LA are and if plan on going on your lunch, don’t expect to be seen in a timely manner. You are better off with a credit union because at least they are better communicators.

Lost our appointment, then proceeded to ask to wait without estimation of time, while at least two managers are just at their desk typing away. This feels like a local regional bank level of service and competency at best.

Great experience today at Chase with banking associate David who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He patiently answered all of my questions and his kindness was greatly appreciated. Chase has unparalleled customer service.

Daniel is a very nice banker and deserves a raise!! He has a very sunny demeanor and honestly I didn't even expect that going to the bank to change my address upon moving as well as ordering a new debit card would make my day, but it did!! I went to this chase bank due to the fact it was close to the Nordstrom and I had to make a return, and it isn't even the closest chase bank to me (it's still pretty close lol), but I'll be making the trip to this one because of how kind all the representatives are!! Ask Daniel to help you, he is very kind!! I know Beverly Center kinda get a rep for no one really going there, but now people have a reason to go to Beverly Center; because this is the chase bank you should be going to if you live in the area. I really hope the supervisors see this and applaud Daniel for being so kind, cause kindness can really go a long way! He even helped me with a bunch of different things on my account I wasn't even aware of and offered to get my new card express delivered and helped set up my Apple Pay so that I could still use my card as I waited for the new one in the mail (I would normally know how to set up an Apple Pay, but only when I have the physical card present). Everything about the experience was great. Daniel is a shining example of a good Samaritan.

It seems like they don't care about their clients. Men sit in desks and you are not acknowledged. Thank you to the latina for helping me get cash.

I was disappointed once again with the lack of customer service and proper etiquette to describe an issue. I was embarrassed that a new teller asked me a question about my identity, when I have been coming to the bank for over 5 years. This should have been disregarded and on my way. This is the one of the main Reason why I rather choose other bank institutions. Rules are rules but when a customer comes into the same bank on a frequent bases plus same check on a weekly bases. I thought that even though due diligence is needed, how come (chase) was not able to disregard that and help me with my weekly transaction. Keep in mind I have been doing this same transaction over 5 years.

Mr. D Griffin was incredibly helpful during a very stressful time for me. Chase is lucky to have an employee like him working there.

THEY HAVE QUARTERS!! Ok this branch is tucked away at a little corner. To get there, find the coffee store La Colombe, then walk towards Panini Kabob to head to the outdoor/parking area of the mall. Then walk all the way straight, towards Avenue of the stars, past Macy's and you will see Chase tucked around the right hand corner.

If you're in somewhat of a hurry during your work break to stop into the bank for something, don't do it here. Though it's fully staffed in a gigantic empty space, this bank is filled with employees that are slow minded (like very) and are just standing with their mouths open. If you have the patience and understanding, go for it.
