They let me deposit a fake check without doing any research for me. I asked the teller if the check was real and was told a straight up “yes” and then that money was returned days later after it had already been removed from my account. Schwab refuses to help by saying they did nothing wrong and that they can’t verify if checks are real. Okay— well you DID tell me the check was real. No one told me to wait 7 days before spending the funds— I was told “yes, it’s a real check, the money will be available tomorrow.” They don’t care about their clients. They could have easily called the bank the fake check came from to confirm if it was real or not when I raised suspicions about it, but they didn’t. They didn’t do anything.

Investment clubs may want to look at other brokerages than Schwab. Now that we're considering ending our club - it's easier to transfer to another brokerage to than stay with Schwab. Our club account moved to Schwab after their recent purchase of Ameritrade.

I opened my account with Ameritrade and did all tradings online. Charles Schwab acquired AT and transferred my account over and didn't let me log in. They asked me to open a Schwab acc by entering my acc number. I called in and verified my identity but they still asked me to go to their office in order to do it even though I still have my user login credential for AT. They really abuse my time. I cannot take a work day off just to fullfill their requirement. I will take all my money out and pick a different service one I gain my account back.

STAY AWAY!!!! Charles Schwab is like a dictator, tyrant organization. I was a good standing client and they closed my account and days on end of research into stocks data for no good reason. No, I wasn't a day trader and I hold on to stocks for long term. GO TO WEBULL or ROBINHOOD!!!

I was a Schwab customer for 20 years. About 3 years ago things started going downhill. They started cutting services. Things started getting lost and I had to track them down. Then they cut out the automatic sweep into high yield like all other brokers offer. They put you in a non yielding bank account. I moved to Fidelity and couldn't be happier.

They don't credit your dividend on date paid, like TD does. They do have a much better money market. However, the reason I am reviewing them today was they sold some of my shares without telling me. TD always tells me when there is any sort of a margin call and allows me to make my own decision on what to sell. I will be closing my Schwab account. Note that this is Schwab in general, not this specific branch. Yelp didn't have an option to review Schwab's back room. No email, no call, not even an online message from their back room. Schwab, you lost a customer today. You really blew it.

I went to this office and tried to open a sep Ira on the 12th of October in the afternoon and was told there was no guarantee that it will be opened by the 15th. So I filled out the form and never called me to say it was processed or not
