Courteous people work here. It's a clean and organized store with wash rooms where you bathe your pet. I had a good experience at this place. Oh yeah, they love pets here.

Website SNAFU; and BAIT & SWITCH?! Having inherited a deceased friend's pet, I located where I could purchase recommended Open Farm line of pet food, and, as a result, found my way to Centinela Feed and Pet Supplies location on S Robertson & W Pico in Los Angeles. Once you have located the parking at the rear of the store for the first time, the store is easy to get to, clean, well organized and the staff is professional, helpful and welcoming. Unknown to me, evidently the staff proactively created an online account for me when I provided my email address and phone number. Ok. In response to a Centinelafeed.com email to me advertising a whopping 25% discount, I went to Create an Account, got a "wrong user name" message when I entered my email in the "Email" field. Having never created an online account, I was confused. Efforts to navigate around the data entry issue and correct this were futile. I checked the ad, but found no evidence it was "online only". No evidence that I could find. Furthermore, there was no Customer Support remedy offered in the online menu (I expect you have to have successfully logged in.) So, I simply drove to the store. Being the only customer in the store, friendly staff actually met me at the entrance offering to help. I was directed to the products I was looking for, and explained the issue with the Website. The clerk responded, saying, "we've been having trouble with the Website and have asked them to fix it." Unsolicited, the young clerk sent me a password re-set email. I explained, "that ship has sailed. I won't be using your Website." But, when I asked where the "FEED25" discount was on my tally, he said, "that discount was only for a limited time." I showed him the email date & time stamp, read the text that stated the offer "expires tonight" (the same day the email was sent/received), and the clerk then said, "Oh, the discount is only available online." I did not bother to explain that the ad failed to state "Online Orders Only", nor, did I pause to explain the illegal practice of BAIT & SWITCH. I simply cancelled the sale and my account and headed to PETSMART. I have zero tolerance for bovine excrement.

Good I go here for my dog food. I trust the place. Always good kibble, not expired. Also they have a rewards program. I believe my 10th bag is always free. So that’s nice. I feel it pays for itself to shop here. Nice variety of brands, treats, and toys. I also walk my Shiba Inu through here and he loves to browse the aisles. Cute place to bring your dog!

Monty and I love coming in here for froyo, treats and toys. It's easy to park and the staff is always friendly! I love that they have grooming onsite too...we usually go in for a quick nail trim and then get him a treat

I love the convenience of buying online, but there are times where you just have to go in to get what you need. I didn’t know it at the time but I needed some practical experience and advice.
I have an epileptic cat. She was on a few medications that greatly reduced her seizures, but they made her sleep constantly and she would still have grand mal seizures about once a month. I had read about the ketogenic diet being the only solution for human beings that had epilepsy before medicines became available. So I thought why not try it for my cat?
Of course, I looked online, but quickly figured out that I would need to buy small amounts of many low carb foods to find one that she would actually eat. This would be best done in a store.
I visited stores in the area, consulting a list I had compiled and compared them to what each store carried. In addition to being epileptic, she was incredibly finicky and wouldn’t eat any of the foods I had bought. My next stop was to Centinela where I wandered the pet food aisle, list in hand.
A woman who appeared to be training two colleagues, stopped and asked if she could help. She turned out to be the manager, Alex. I told Alex my situation, and she immediately distilled my options down by asking a few questions. I left with an armful of Weruva cat food.
That was in February 2023. To my great relief, she liked most of the Weruva options. She had one seizure around this time and then none since. It’s been almost 9 months seizure free.
What was seemingly second nature to Alex made a huge difference for us.
No matter the job, we all can recognize people who are good at what they do and know their stuff. Alex knows her stuff, shared it with me and I’m forever grateful.

Staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of food and supplies to choose from. They sell more unique brands (no Meow Mix or Friskies for example). There is plenty of parking.
