Loved my stay at Casa lu-An was an amazing experience. First off, the room was impeccably clean. Then, the service was so so so... good, that there was no need to request extra towels or bathroom tissue paper or even soap since the room already had extra hygiene items in case guests were to run out of towels or soap. For the room was equipped with enough essentials to last enough during my stay over a few days. Simply amazing. Lastly, across the street there was a grocery store And a gasoline station less the 500 feet away from the hotel. Therefore i rate this place 5 stars in detail.. this place outstands itself from the surrounding hotels.Safety: There's cameras installed around the perimeter.Walkability: Can walk accross the street to a known grocery store.Noteworthy details: The wifi connection was super fast

Told me $75 for a night, left to look around for other places and compare prices, came back and talked to the same clerk and was charged $100. When I filled out my information I was asked for my ID to verify the paperwork, and they told me they will give me my ID back at checkout at 11AM the next day!! For what reason?! I need that to drive ffs. Definitely not sketchy at all... The clerk then told me they would give me my ID back if I gave them another $20! Ridiculous!Rooms arent bad, average sized, has an extra office room with a fridge and desk, reasonable sized tv, acceptable bathroom but few toiletries, has free WiFi but I cannot comment on the quality since I dont use public WiFi for security reasons.Overall, decent rooms, acceptable price, in a pretty convient location, but absolutely abbhorent customer service. Got treated like an overbearing parent would treat their golden child. Would NEVER stay here again.

I've been coming here on and off for almost a yr. The rooms are big and some even have a kitchenette, closet and little hallways. Like an apt. The manager, Vikki, is feisty, friendly, cheerful and always helpful. The rooms are clean as is the entire property. The housekeeper is a very nice lady. If you want to be left alone without room service, she respects that. I highly recommend Casa Luan. King size beds, AC, Free Wifi, and flat screen with cable, all at a reasonable price.

I LOVE Casa Lu-An ! The wife and husband are EXTREMELY kind and attentive. The wife always watches out for me and my car is safe when leaving parked at Casa Lu An! I recently stayed in #2! Only place I stay while in LA and it is conveniently located off the 134 and centrally located with easy access to DTLA. THANK YOU SGSKN CASA LU AN!!! Will be seeing you soon!!

Extremely cheap, next to a vons/cvs, bus to downtown LA, friendly hosts, clean and attractive room. Great value!

Just tried to book a room that was available for a friend who is homeless for the holidays... this man needed to get outta the rain and have a warm place to shower and sleep for the night and so in response and with cold hearted stares straight up said no... what a shame

Worse motel to stay at , either your kitchen sink clogged, tv not working anything that's gona go wrong, will go wrong here..bad plumbing you name it. New owners have to fix it up an.the previous owners seemed to do a better jobI know, since they retired, place has gone downwe would periodically stay here..but not so much since the old owner retired..My bf even tried to fix their plumbing an was promise a discount, which We never got the next time we checked in .Every room seems to have problem.We've stayed in most of them...We know..

I used to frequent here and they had great prices. I went by today to book a romantic day and they TRIPLED the price. That's not okay. I will have to take my business elsewhere and I hope others do also
