If you like your roof leaking due to incompetent repairs every rainy season, this is the place for you! Ask for the Guess Work with a Tub of Tar special. You'll wonder how you ever lived through the dry season before!Within 3-5 business days, a roofer will come out and see how the actual roof is in such terrible condition that there are depressions/basins where water collects like a modern Salton Sea (this water never actually drains, it evaporates over the course of weeks, all the while finding the myriad of entryways into your living space). Reader: this flat roof probably hasn't drained properly since 1978.The roofer knows that the entire roof needs to be replaced, but due to Moss and Company's cheapness, is only authorized to fill some cracks and move on.Tomorrow, I will get a panicked call from management and we'll repeat this dance each storm until the roofer's guess work tides us over to the next rainy season.Eventually, they'll tell the next tenant, "this has never happened before" (get ready to hear that a lot!).My advice: make sure your renters insurance is up to date. The temporary columns holding up balcony overhangs in the parking lot for almost an entire year demand it.

I've been a resident at Casa De Vida for the past two years, and it's been quite a delightful stay. The location is great – it's close enough to the city's buzz while offering a peaceful ambiance. The pricing is reasonable without compromising on the essential services and comforts that make living here enjoyable.One of the standout aspects is the management and staff's approach. Joanna and Tina, the property managers, are not only efficient but also friendly and caring. They've been quick to help with any queries or issues, making the living experience smoother.The rest of the team also contributes to the positive vibe of the place. Stanley, the night manager, ensures safety at odd hours, and Yohanna and the cleaning crew maintain a neat environment that adds to the overall appeal.In a nutshell, Casa De Vida is a comfortable option worth considering if you're on the lookout for a cozy place to stay in LA.

Joanna and Tina who manage the building have been incredibly helpful and welcoming and made moving in here a breeze. The building is well looked after and everyone is friendly. The management is so helpful and quick to respond to requests. It's a really well located building too with lots of amenities and good transport links.

Very bad apartment with the worst management. DONOT live here if you want to avoid troubles! They let you sign the lease without telling you they will do construction work in the parking lot. They gave you an assigned parking space but almost half year you cannot park in your spot due to the construction. The lazy worker delays every phase of construction, I am not joking. They plan to finish the construction in 3 months but they couldn’t finish in 6 months. EVERY PHASE OF WORK is DELAYED. They asked you to move your car from 8-5 but workers left work around 3PM. Sometime they forgot to notice you to move your car in advance they simply put a canvas cloth on your car which can damage your car. Extremely bad management here.

If you like living in a construction zone, then this place is for you! 4 months straight of construction from 8am-5pm Mon-Friday, this is great! I mean, who would want a quiet and calm place to live anyhow.

I moved here almost 9 months ago nice clean buliding pool gym lobby laundry room all the time thay cleaning managers of the buliding both lady super nice and caring I m so happy to live here.

Joanna and Tina are the best. Both really care about their residents having the best experience possible.Was recently looking around to upsize from my studio to a one bedroom, but enjoyed my time here so much that I decided to stay and make the move in building :)

One of the best properties with an amazing management in the city. Amenities, cleanliness and friendliness are only some of the qualities they have. Prices are affordable than other complexes; literally they are on the same block on Overland Ave., and they are 400-500 dollars more than this. Because they look more "pretentious". But this property looks humble on the outside but very generous, spacious and as well equipped as the other ones on the inside. If you consider checking it out, I highly recommend you to talk to JOANNA, she is wonderful. Super friendly and accommodating. Other staff is also on it for everything you need. Thank you guys for everything. Love living here!!!

I lived at Casa De Vida for nearly three years. It was a wonderful experience! The building is well kept, there are plenty of amenities, and the neighbors are friendly--there is a real sense of being part of a community here. Management at Casa De Vida are Joanna and Tina. I can't say enough about these two ladies, they are truly the best building managers I have ever had. Not only were they very welcoming when I moved in, they were extremely accommodating to any of my requests, took care of the few, very minor services my apartment needed in a timely fashion and will chat you up if they see you in their off time like a good neighbor would. I already miss it. Thank you!

I lived here for nearly 8 years and I can happily say I enjoyed it the whole time. Tina and Joanna are great apartment managers who are really caring and responsive. I have recommended this apartment complex to friends and they also enjoyed living here. Some of the units on the north side of the property have some of the best views of the city. Many people would come gather outside our apartment just to watch fireworks during the Fourth of July.
