The Laurel Canyon Store is one of my all time favourite places to go in LA. What does it for me is the history.. and the vibe. I went once and the people there (guests included) were very warm and nice. The store has lots of fantastic items to try on the porch as you enjoy scenery

Went there to buy bagels with my gf. The „owner“ of the store came up to us and asked us if we wanted to take a short tour of the place as it has history to it. Not wanting to be rude we agreed although we were in a rush. After the 5 minute tour we went back up thanking him for the tour. He suddenly asked for a donation for his Youtube channel as he owed „5000$ to a video editor“. When I told him that I have no more than 50c he started screaming at us that we disrespected him by taking a „VIP tour“ and not paying him for it while putting his fist right up my face.Don‘t go here if you want to be scammed and assaulted.

I miss LA, Laurel Canyon, and the Canyon Country Store so much! I used to live in an apartment above the Dry Cleaners, worked at Caoti Puzza, and made lattes in front of the store in the 1990’s. Tommy is the best human, and the folks living in the Canyon are Angels. Best time of my life!

A must-see destination when visiting Laurel Canyon. Like most "convenience stores" they have everything here. Yeah, prices might be a bit higher than a chain supermarket. Photos from the past (late 60's - early 70's) and your favorite rock legends of that period cover the walls. Nice Deli, with tasty dishes available. Don't miss this opportunity to soak up vibes from years past! Oh yeah, don't forget to grab a cup of coffee and danish outside, sit and enjoy!

Great neighborhood convenience store with tons of history. The deli counter has very good veggie and pasta salads. Coffee and pastries on porch in the mornings. Pace restaurant downstairs also a fave when we are in Los Angeles.

This legendary market is amazing. The history alone is the reason we stopped by the first time. We have been several times. Each time, we stare in awe knowing the greatness that once passed through the doors. I originally found this market in search of Jim Morrison's footsteps. Stepping into the market is like traveling back in time. We have also walked around the corner of the market to see "Love Street". The last time we were in the area, we desperately needed a pen to sign a card. This market was not the most convenient location but we stopped by here because it is so cool. We did buy some additional items like bottled drinks, chips and cookies. We love looking at the black and white photos. I just feel like it is a really special place and it was something really magical. I think there is something for everyone here. Snacks, goodies, history and a good little deli for getting food to go. They have cute little tables outside to eat your sandwiches as well. We don't live in the area but we stop by as often as we can. Each time we are delighted to see this fascinating little market where we have always been treated kindly by the sweet staff.

Interesting store. Serves good sandwiches. Noted Laurel Canyon landmark. Part of 1960's and 1970's rock n roll culture.

Iconic place… so many stories. I went for a coffee but nothing in the afternoon. Parking 15 mins only. Line Street is nearby but bear in mind parking is extremely hard to find. There is a restaurant nearby but also no parking.
