All military uniforms from yesteryear and some current ones. Interesting old building, but it lacks cleanliness.

Here is the state of retail 2023: you want to buy a hat, you hav purchased one many times—it should cost about $10—at this store, its $19.95. One immediately goes to Amazon (in the store, mind you) and sees that is may be purchased for...$10. Retail stores, stop it! Be reasonable with your make-ups—

Nice folks, got a bright orange beanie and some wool gloves from them. Both of them made in USA to my delight. They seem to genuine care about getting the right fit for you.

Amazing products and sweet deals on prices plus grade A service. If you haven't been to L.A. Surplus yet then I highly suggest checking them out! Even if you think they may not have your kinda products, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised and find at least one or two items of interest. If you're an outdoorsy type or even just into the aesthetic, then definitely this is the shop for you!

05/07/2022 - Sadly, this is not a real military surplus store (at least not anything like the one that used to be at this location). Seems more like a front or just a very poor attempt at trying to emulate a surplus store.. Everything is fake and not real military gear. They have a few piles of plus plus size carharrts and other random (not name brand clothing). The only reason I changed my rating to 2 stars instead of 1 is because they have at least got an okay selection of dickies (in all sizes) but that’s it.. everything else clothing-wise is either ultra bare, fake Chinese knockoffs or both. There is a very small and cheap/fake selection of knives and an even worse-than-Amazon level selection of camping/survival gear. On top of that they only have extra small and extra large sizes of all the knock off clothing items. No normal sizes of anything (even if you were planning to buy some knock-off LARP-wares). I was so disappointed because my favorite surplus store in Silverlake closed during the pandemic and when this place finally seemed to “re-open”, that gave me some hope. Its not a Re-opening though, this is a totally different store to the one that used to be at this location. Just wanted to warn anyone who was expecting to find anything even remotely resembling that great shop that used to be at this location. It’s sad to see people LARPing like this and trying to pass off like they are legitimate.. it’s pretty much fraudulent to call this a “surplus store” and even vaguely imply that its actually selling military surplus gear.. anyone who has posted any positive reviews here since the reopening in 2021 is either a fake account or lying or both.
