- I booked a compact with a very good discount code-manager says only a pickup truck is available but its an extra $30-I say fine and sign everything. He proceeds to give me a sedan.-normally if a car isn't available you get upgraded free of charge. Even if I am being charged for the upgrade a compact to a sedan for a day should only be $10.

Booked a pick up truck last night, drove an hour from the valley to pick it up, my wife and I walk in and there are no other customers; the representative, Ashan has my paperwork on his desk and then tells me he doesn’t have a pickup for me. I asked why no one contacted me and he said they don’t offer that service. I’ll be sticking with SIXT or any other rental company other than budget or Avis.

Reserved a car, came to the rental and they ask me 50 dollars more for one day reservation. Why? They don’t have the car!!

Good friendly service, reasonable prices and easy to book.One minus is that our car wasn't very clean when we picked it up; we actually had to clean the internal glass ourselves as the windscreen in particularly was very grimy.On a precious occasion, the car we had reserved was unavailable, they tried to get me to rent another car at a higher price, although eventually they backed down on the additional cost.

Rented an SUV but when I arrived (after walking 2 miles) they casually told me they only have small cars. I own a small car. I needed an SUV. You could give a courtesy call to let renters know not to waste their time. They then tried to send me to a different store before having me wait an hour for a car to be transferred. THEN the car they gave me had a barely working key fob. I had to use the physical key to get into the car twice, which set off the alarm. Finally, I called and asked if I could return early to get rid of the useless car, and I was told I would be charged a fee. Legitimately terrible service.

Si je pouvais mettre 0 je le ferais. À fuir absolument si vous voulez passer des bonnes vacances ! Nous avons commandé une voiture 12 places et nous avons eu un véhicule beaucoup plus petit. Après 2h d'attente ils ont du se resigner à nous donner le bon véhicule. À notre retour en France nous avons eu l'agréable surprise d'avoir une surfacturation de 560 euros. Vous allez me dire dire que c'est une amende? Non ! Après vérification de leur part ce sont des assurances ajoutées sans notre accord. Vous l'avez deviné nous n'avons eu aucun geste commercial de leur part. Arnaque ? Attrape touristes? Je ne sais pas mais il faut fuir absolument !!

Had a really difficult time both with this Avis location, and Avis customer service. The communication about billing, and me trying to address it afterwards, was atrocious. If you do a long term rental with Avis, they bill it in 30 day increments. This was not communicated to me for my 42 day rental at the counter, so I was handed an estimate that I thought was for my entire rental, but was actually only for 30 days. I was never given an estimated total for my complete rental. When I was confused about the charges I was getting, I called both the location and customer service, and was met with really condescending and hostile responses. I was batted about between the regular customer service number and the location, told that the other person was supposed to address any compensation I would receive for the lack of communication, and then for the lack of customer care. When I returned the car, I was given a marginal amount off of the rental, but nothing that made up for the extremely frustrating experience. The complete disregard for my experience as a customer, and being talked to as if I was stupid for taking issue with the communication around billing, will definitely make me avoid Avis in the future.

Sam the apparent owner of this franchise is the rudest and meanest person I've ever met. Always charges my cards without my consent first. I've had a corporate account for 18 months and paid this branch 20k, and I'm receiving collections letters from creditors saying I didn't pay. Something's fishy here. Do not use this branch or the Beverly Hills branch, they're both his. Red flag all over this place.

I am shocked at the many less than stellar reviews because my expereince, last week was so good, I am still smiling. Their rates are less than Hertz , and I received better and faster service at both LAX and the Westood Blvd offices. Miguel at Westwood was as effiecent at it gets but also treated me like I was a VIP. I appreciate the money I saved going here as much as the nice Honda I rented. I am a fan.

Worst car rental service ever!!! Booked a rental a month ago via Costco travel and was contacted last minute by the manager that the car was not available. The manager was unprofessional and very unprofessional. Too bad you can't give a 0 star. This place took the cake for the worst car rental business ever!!!

We booked with them and once we got there they didn’t have any car available , to my question about how they me allow to book it he replied “is not my problem’ , so he transfer to another office and once we got there they just have 1 car avaible and of course more expensive! Dirty car and unsafe, look the picture,my advice is to find another agency !

I would give negative stars if I could. The man at the counter was the most rude person I’ve met in my life. I reserved a car a month ago and when I reached the location to pickup they did not have my car and instead said I had to pay extra if I wanted the car they had. He had no empathy whatsoever and was incredibly rude. He said that I can cancel my reservation and go elsewhere if I didn’t want to pay up. How can budget customer service accept a person like this man being their representative to customer. Budget you’ve lost me as a customer for life because of this terrible experience with the worst person I’ve come across in life. When I asked if they’re expecting my class of car to be returned in the next hour or so, he just said, “I don’t know, maybe maybe not, upto you to wait.”The level of arrogance and lack of empathy was appalling. Please go learn customer service at some school.Hopefully someone at Budget sees this review: this incident occurred at 2:45pm on September 2, 2022. The man was wearing a red polo shirt and was about 5 feet 4 inches.

I wish I could leave a 5 star review, but unfortunately for Budget and the people they employ (Miguel), I am leaving a 1 star review.I was coming from LAX and got stuck in traffic in the $35 Uber and got to this location at 5:05 pm. I called ahead and let Miguel know I would be there at 5:05 pm around 4:45 pm. He told me that he would be gone at 5:02 pm.Sure enough, when I got there, Miguel was gone and the store was locked. Someone nearby even told me that the store was closed at 4:58 pm!So I didn't get my rental car, was out $35 in Uber and then another $35 in Uber to get back to my home.Lesson learned, don't rent with Budget or this location!

Previous reviews truly reflect this business location. Worst customer service ever, no receipt unless you request, overcharged of what they agreed upon. I reserved a car at Avis online, upon arrival was told no car available, I had to pay extra for upgrade (should they give you free upgrade if your reserved car is not available?). Okay fine I was given a SUV for $101.55 a day including all fees and taxes (too bad I didn't take a picture of the rental agreement), when I return the car next day they took away the original agreement and told me I'm all set, no receipt ( I blame myself for not asking one). Then next day they charged me $240.32. I went back telling them they overcharged me. Instead of $101.55, they said I'm now being charged for $110.04. If you can rent a car from other rental companies don't come here.
