My Mom was recently brought to this facility and as some elderly people do is (complain) about everything. The Administrators took time to host a conference call with me: (Daughter & Husband) to see what could be done to rectify some of the issues. This is the second facility my Mothers has been placed. I must say, I appreciate the time the staff has taking out of their busy schedules to do what (was/is) needed. To make sure my Mom is comfortable and satisfied. Which makes things so much easier for patient and family. I am pleased to say check out this place for your love ones because they care.

Just wanted to give high marks to Antonio, Jessica, Jhoana and Cecilia who work on staff at Brier Oaks on Sunset. They are always responsive and helpful. These hard working staffers really make a difference to the patients and the patient's family and friends. Look for them when you come to Brier Oak.

don’t send your love ones here.Lvns dont even know when they own patients are declining If your love one is DNR they dont care about them. If you want your love one to pass away in peace send them to a facility thats hospice care that will give them the needed comfort. Everyone deserves to pass away in peace and comfort There is a facility not even 6 mins from this one thats way better

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT send your family here. I watched them neglect my mom and other patients. The staff are rude and management isn't worth a penny. They come to work to get a check not to sincerely help those in need.

My daughter was in this place for almost 2 months and it was awful, in my opinion. Constant noise, people walking about all day. Food bring your own or have someone bring it to you. People come and steal your stuff. My daughter's meds were charged without notice or without her doctors approval. We had to make her appointments and travel arrangements. She and I was attacked by one of her roommates. Whe she was there it could have use a better cleaning. In my opinion it is not a great place to be , I know there are places that are worse and they should be investigated. More should be done for convenient and nursing home care.

I was here off at spinal cord I jury worst svc ever. I advise if u have a family member to take out and care for them if u can. Neglect ppl I was hearing yelling for help all night caught a pressure sore from not being turned properly not being changed properly laying in urine and p*** all night also hit call button takes forever for someone to help it was just a horrible experience for me and it's sad how they do the old people that area staying there so if u have a family or friend try to have another placement. See I was young and could talk for myself most of the people there couldn't

Briar Oaks nursing home did not take very good care of my wife. When she got home I noticed some bed sores on her legs. I caution anyone to think twice. Before admitting a loved. Proceed with caution. They only had one cordless phone for the whole facility. Impossible to get a call through.

My brother was admitted to Brier Oak on Sunset on December 20th. I still have not been able to visit due to the recent covid outbreak which I understand. I want to give a shout out to Antonio Aguilar who runs the social services department. He has been responsive and so helpful from our first meeting at the facility. He understands and goes out of his way to help answer questions and provide information. Without him, I don't know what I would do. Everyone I have come in contact with has been very nice. I would like to see more help in the face time videos since we cannot visit. Having them on the weekend would be really helpful.

PT is the bomb! 95% of the staff is nice, funny and kind. Food is good and manager works with you and your needs. Administrative staff are very helpful. 1 negative, the showers need some work. But all showers are in shower chair, so it doesn't really affect your body, it's just an eye sore. I liked everyone there, with a handful of notes. For a place so many beds, ppl and constant motion.. kudos!

The 5 star rating is not nearly enough to convey about the genuine service, support with resources and the one task other medical facilities have forgotten.. "amazing bed side manners". My client was transferred to Brier Oak to finish his treatment. He is not one to stay put in the hospital but because of the care and common courtesy of all members of staff he stayed , got well and came home. Their director of patient services, Antonio is full of knowledge, resources, compassion, & empathy. I appreciated the way he spoke to my client and the full attention he always gave him. I welcomed his experience in the field and is suburb customer service not only to the patient but to the whole family. I will and I have told co workers and friends about the boundless quality of care, support and genuine interaction that was given at Brier Oak . THANK YOU !!!!
