We started the search for our first home by looking for the best local mortgage lender, which led us to Bill. We're back a short ~2 months later to say how thankful we are to Bill and his team now that we're in the process of moving into our first home.
From the start, Bill understood how new we were to the process and took his time to walk us through every step along the way, answering our questions (many of which we asked several times) and guiding us forward. Bill was always patient, supportive and attentive with timely replies to all of our questions. The process takes a lot of trust from the buyer, and along the way I put my trust in Bill and his team, and when it was all said and done we landed EXACTLY where we wanted to be from the get go.
I'd expect nothing less from a man who wrote the book on buying a house. Literally, he wrote a book on it! There's only one name that'll come to mind when someone asks if I know a good lender, and it'll be Bill Rayman.

I talked to Bill for 2 years on the phone so he could prepare me to buy my first home, and I finally did! He is so giving of his time, and he would do anything he could to help me get the best deal he could get for me. He is a miracle worker and I trust him implicitly!

Bill is the best mortgage broker one could ask for. Upon our very first conversation about real estate as a first time home buyer, bill deeply listened to my perspective, professionally assessed my position, gave me an enriching education on real estate financing, and guided me through an in depth, custom tailored strategy for the right plan moving forward. One conversation with Bill felt like gaining the knowledge of an entire book (which Bill has also published!) I can't wait to keep working with Bill and I can't recommend him enough!

While shopping for an investment property Bill took the time, energy and interest to help me navigate through a very complex appraisal process. As the market continues to shift having the right advisor is necessary. I had several issues with the contacts details, and with the interest rate shift- Bill was able to get me a rate in the high 4's!! i wanted to take a moment to thank Bill for all his support and guidance. Can't wait to buy another investment property!

We couldn't have gotten a loan for our house without Bill, we are so grateful we met him. When my spouse and I started exploring buying a house with a Westside realtor (Sierus Erdelyi, who is also great), we didn't qualify for a conventional loan. Sierus recommended Bill, saying Bill can solve any problems. After talking to two other lenders, it was clear right away Bill was different. He immediately thought of several creative ways to leverage assets that other lenders did not mention at all. He recommended us to a great lawyer and checked in periodically. After our assets were straightened out, Bill advised us on what we needed to do to qualify for a loan. Sure enough, things proceeded smoothly and he was able to help us qualify. At that point, our previous lenders found out we were looking for a mortgage and gave us a competitive rate. We didn't want to drop Bill as there was no way we could have gotten this far without him. So I let Bill know we were looking for a shorter-term rate, and he was able to match it through a different bank. Bill is the most clever lender we've had the pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend him enough for tougher loans, he truly enjoys a puzzle!

Believe the hype, believe the ratings - Bill Rayman is the real deal. When I started the homebuying process I called Bill based on his great reviews on Yelp. I had a lot of questions because I knew my particular situation was unique in regards to qualifying for a loan since I was a small business owner coming out of the two-year pandemic/lockdowns. Bill took the time to answer all my questions, discuss all my options, and really talk me through the process. His first goal was always "Get you your house" and he pursued that goal even when it meant connecting me with a different loan officer at a completely different company who would be able to do the kind of unique loan I needed. And even after moving on to that loan officer Bill still took every call I lobbed his way, gave me advice throughout the process, and was always someone I could bounce questions and concerns off of even though he knew he wouldn't be making a cent off of my loan - that is true character. My wife and I closed on our house in West LA earlier this week and it all started with Bill Rayman.

I don't review much but I had to give a shout out to Bill for how awesome and helpful he was. He is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Just a great experience overall. He explained everything so clearly and made it super easy to comprehend. He is great at communicating and extremely responsive and makes sure all your questions are answered. I will definitely return to Bill for anything mortgage related and will continue referring my friends and family to him.
