Awful. 20% off holiday toys advertised both inside and outside the store. Rung up at register full price and refused to discount after being asked, saying "oh yeah well that was last week" and then, "we're changing it today". That was after the item in question was mispriced. First and last time visiting this place.

Such a lovely gem in Larchmont Village! The women who work here are so wonderful and you can tell they absolutely love animals. Super knowledgeable and always so warm.

Came in today to check this spot out (since I work down the street) and I must say I had a great experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and felt super welcomed. I needed help with dog food, my dog has had been having stomach issues and Alejandra explained to me a lot about nutrition and gave me great advice and suggestions as well as a new food to try. Came home after work a day thrilled that my dog loved his new food. Thanks again and look forward to my next visit.

Wonderful neighborhood pet shop! We love coming in every week to get our doggie food and supplies. Joanne and Allie are the best. They're knowledgeable, welcoming and a part of our community. It's also great to support small businesses. (If anyone is wondering why the overall star rating isn't higher - it's because before 2013 (I think) - this shop was managed by a very unfriendly person and the ratings were 1 star with the same complaint during those years. The shop has been under new management for a while now- and the ladies who run it have turned The Barking Lot into a wonderful place to go - with many patrons giving them much higher, well deserved marks.)

I love the store. great pet supplies great pet food with a knowledgeable staff. Tell them what's going on with your dog and the suggested dog food or supplements and they never oversell you. Highly recommend it
