The Bank teller I was speaking with was very rude to me and used unprofessional language that made it feel as if he was talking down to me while I tried to get a cashier's check. He didn't seem rude to the woman in front of me so I am not sure what to make of it.

I love this branch and the folks that have worked here over the last 20 years. I would love for this review to find some ears so I am posting about my experience with Bank of America in general. Bank of America is large and disorganized. I believe they only were able to stay afloat of issues before because they had an excess of employees. We had personal, business banking and merchant services with Bank of America ... and a significant amount to boot. We were not able to get a PPP loan with bank of america which was a major strike, thankfully we were able to get the help needed from another bank. The process was awful, zero information, zero transparency, and zero loan with Bank of America. Fast forward to most recent issue with Merchant Services. I noticed after some time that deposits weren't being made to my account from Merchant Services. No phone call, no letter, nothing, they just started holding my money. I call up and am told there is a levy - I get the information sorted that there isn't a levy and the funds should be released (after about 3 hours of phone calls) - about a month in and 100k held they start releasing my money. A week later the deposits stop again... and I call again and spend 3 hours on the phone with their useless customer service who pass me from department to department. I am told there is a levy of $250,000 from the IRS - I am losing my mind. I don't have a levy from the IRS but I am thinking - fraud? something? So, I spend 3 hours on hold with the IRS to be told that there IS NO LEVY on either personal or business. I call BofA merch services back - and keep in mind this is an additional hour of my day and usually referred to some department that is closed because they close at 2PM so not completed until at least the next day - and am told... the only information they have is that it's the IRS and it's a 608 area code. Hmm, IRS doesn't have a 608 area code I tell the BofA Levy department rep.... yes, they do she says. I ask do you have any additional information? no. Just the phone number. So, I look up this 608 number and it's the WISCONSIN Dept of Revenue (state tax, nothing to do with IRS) - huh???!! Never been to Wisconsin, don't have business there... what is going on. Call the Wisconsin Dept of Revenue and go through the process of verifying I don't have any Leins, levys etc with them. I call Bank of America Merchant Service back and am told thats what they have, no one can provide me with a letter or any information. I send an email to EVERY SINGLE PERSON at bank of america that I have had contact with on this and then some extras who were cc'd in the emails. I get an email back saying I need to get a letter from wisconsin saying I don't have any levys with them. I call Wisconsin dept of revenue and am told.. no, we cannot give you a letter that shows you have no levys. I email bank of america merchant services back. It takes a week add'l to get the issue resolved and several days after that to get the money back into my bank account. All in all Bank of America held 170k of my money over this period in time and caused me a ridiculous amount of stress. I probably made 80 phone calls to get this resolved and NEVER received any letters with any information. So, as nicely as I can say this without getting this review thrown out because what I want to say is awful.... I have the most intense dislike for bank of america that you can imagine. They have lost my business forever.

Always “open” but there are no bank tellers that work there and haven’t for several months.

There are no bank tellers at this bank and after several months they continue to not staff this bank with tellers. It is pretty misleading that they always say they are open but really are not.
