Bad service to change a check for 100 that they sent me because they closed my account. They were asking me for a bank card and they changed the other check for 50 as if nothing had happened.

This is probably one of the worst banks in Los Angeles, as far as friendliness and making their customers feel welcomed. I took my elderly parents here, who are 85 and 87(disabled) and they were refused the ability to withdrawal, deposit or transfer their money because of expired ID cards. They have other forms of identification such as insurance, military and other credit cards. They have been banking at this particular branch for over 30 years and plenty of money in their accounts which is being held hostage. I would not recommend opening an account at this bank. TERRIBLE!!!!

Preferential treatment is given to nonblack customers here. The manager Ninette was dismissive when I went to her to report fraudulent activity on my account. She kept referring me to call the fraud department, but they weren’t able to verify my account because of a new phone number. I had the fraud department on speaker phone and the fraud representative was saying the bank representatives needed to verify my account because of the number change. It was still a ping pong game and I don’t feel as though I received quality customer service as a black customer. Even another associate was rushing me along and told me to come back the next week to help with online banking trouble. Today is Thursday and I had already been waiting over an hour to get the issue resolved. I should have read one of the previous comments about the staff being dismissive because that was my experience as well. I specifically asked to speak to the manager and Ninette got another employee to take over and assist me instead.

Horrible slow customer service. No help 50 people waiting for service and only two tellers. They can't even give you a wait time to speak to someone. Been banking with BofA for over 30 years, will definitely be a chase customer after today!! Horrible

Their supervisors and tellers have always been very helpful. However I have to give 3 stars because Bank of America has made us wait in line for so long. Surely they can open more branches with more tellers pandemic or not.

There was a line to get in and the requirement to enter bank is to have a mask. If you are only doing something with your account then no problem they are all nice. The only problem I had was to open a new account I had to make an appointment, but if you look at how busy the bank is then to keep some distance between people then it was not that big of a deal for safety.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I had several checks from EDD as back pay. I've cashed checks there in the pass with no problem. This time the Teller refused to cash any and was very dismissive. I asked for the manager because I was thinking about opening accounts for me and my daughters. Branch Manager JESUS CAMPOS came out and was even more dismissive. He didn't even offer to take us into a cubicle he just stood in the middle of that very empty lobby (at 10 am ),and said he was too busy. Feeling disrespected, I simply left without a fuss. I went to Chase where they were more than happy to accommodate us. I also opened accounts there for my daughters as well. JESUS CAMPOS DID NOT WANT MY BUSINESS !! So, I took it to CHASE

Teller wasn't wearing a mask or gloves while attending customers. This is unacceptable and it risks the lives of their customers.
