I went to Avcogas to refill a propane tank and picked it because of the good reviews. Called beforehand, person on the phone answered promptly and was pleasant. Upon arrival the very large guy immediately came upto my car and told me to move it to another spot, pretty sure he did it purposefully because he was jealous of my vehicle. Next I brought my propane tank over to the guy half full and he said I had to pay a straight fee in cash. My tank was half full and the guy charged me cash double the amount I paid to fill a tank at another location recently. The guy was extremely unpleasant. Seriously felt like I was scammed leaving the place and I told the guy he was over overcharging and he stuffed my cash into his pocket and glared at my car as I left. Need new employees! I cannot say I’ve ever had as unpleasant of an experience.

DO NOT USE this company go anywhere else. They almost never show up and when you call to complain and ask to speak with a manager, they tell you they will have their manager call you back and she never does. The lady who picks up the phone is rude and has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. This company is a bunch of crooks and thieves they will charge you for service they don't even provide you. Stealing money from hard working companies. I wish i can give them a Negative -5 Stars. As a consumer and a business owner please call any other gas company so many great ones out there BUT NOT AVCO GAS.

Nice location, right off of Slauson ave. They have different types of tanks for sale there. You can also bring you own to fill. Overall great service. They accept credit card .

There is slow service today, one guy runs the place, and he takes his sweet time filling up the propane tanks. Talks with other customers, and just slow service. The manager needs to get on his guy asap

Excellent place to get propane quickly for catering trucks, bar-b-que bottles, or forklift cylinders. Prices are the best. Although street construction right now is hindering accessibility, it's still the best place to get propane 7 days a week. You need to try. ;)

Very unprofessional they are charging me a prorated amount for the time i did not use them even though i gave them a 30 day notice that i will no longer be needing their service due to rates and poor service. Save yourself the headaches do not use them. I have been calling for the past 3 weeks on a daily basis to get this issue resolved and they never have anyone available to assist me. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE JUST IN IT FOR THEMSELVES
