STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX! Avoid at all costs - this place is a nightmare come true. The management team does not care about your experience here.
My RFID chip suddenly stopped working, leaving me locked out of the building. I had to wait for another tenant to let me in and use the elevator, as the chip is required not just to enter the complex but also to use the elevator - both to go up and down. This is extremely inconvenient if you order food delivery or have guests, as you have to personally escort them in and out every single time.
When I called customer service, I could immediately tell they didn’t care. The representative gave me no answers or timeframe - just told me to wait. Today is Valentine’s Day, and this complex ruined my plans with my wife. Even though some kind tenants helped us get in, we are now stuck inside, unable to leave.
This level of incompetence extends to other issues. We had flickering lights in both bedrooms, the showers, and the kitchen. When maintenance finally came, they claimed they were missing tools and would return the next day. Two and a half weeks passed before anyone showed up again. Flickering lights may sound minor, but when it happens constantly throughout your home, the headaches become unbearable. We’re just lucky we don’t have epilepsy.
Bottom line - save yourself the stress and do not move here.
TL;DR this place is awful and they way the show you how uncaring towards the residents they are make you regret ever getting into this place and I’m waiting for the day our lease ends.

Jayme in the leasing office is absolutely amazing! She is always so nice, quick, and efficient when it comes to handling any requests or concerns. If something urgent comes up, she’s on it right away and makes sure things get the attention they need.
Carlos from the maintenance team is also a rockstar! He works hard to keep things running smoothly and always shows up ready to help.

I've been a resident here for a year, and I have nothing but positive experiences, especially with Jayme in the office. She is always so friendly, attentive, and goes out of her way to ensure everything runs smoothly for us. It's clear she genuinely cares about the residents. Maintenance, especially Carlos, is also fantastic-quick, efficient, and always professional. Thank you both for everything you do to make this such a great place to live!

The water intake system in the toilet bowl has failed.
I informed the administration, an hour later a master arrived and instantly replaced the unit that failed.

The building used to be much cleaner when it was the AVA, since the Hue took over things have really changed. Almost every weekend the trash chutes overflow because the trash is not picked up enough times during the week, so this causes residents to just put their trash bags on the floor in the hallway around the trash chutes. This is very unsanitary, and such an eye sore.

I lived here for about 5 year when it was first AVA. It was beautiful building with an amazing team keeping up with its maintanance and appearance. After about 2 or 3 years, they had a change of staff and little by little it started going downhill, specially after the pandemic. The area started getting a little rough, homeless people sneaking into the bulding in the parking, stairwell, and even the rooftop. So much for security which could only be found in the stairwells hiding and on their phones. The whole building smells like weed at all times of the day, even though it claims to be smoke free. It had an issue with bugs and rats and needed to have vendors over all the time to take care of the situation. I only stuck around as long as I did because of how everything around was so expensive and I needed to stay near work.
The building also has tons of cracks all over, and it's only a few years old. My apartment got flooded with rain water 2 years in a row and multiple times the last year I was there. They took months to fix it and lived weeks with walls exposed and humidifier fans blowing 24/7, and I got stuck with that power bill. All the apartments above me suffered from the same thing so I'm sure it will happen again.
The building was turning to sh*t and was eventually sold to HUE catching all tenants by surprise. After HUE took over, the "new staff" was non-existent and trash just started piling up everywhere. Trash bins, dog relief area, back alley with tons of furniture, homeless sleeping on mattresses in the guest parking. Long history of cars getting broken into the secured lots. Homeless doing drugs all over the place.
I had enough and I frankly didn’t feel safe anymore and made the decision to move out, specially since they were trying to raise my rent $200 a month every year.
On one of my last week there, I got attacked really bad by a tenant's dog inside the stairwell and suffered injuries. Due to being in a rush, I couldnt stick around to grab the owners info and that was my mistake. After going to the clinic the following day to get a tatanus shot, I reported the situation to Jayme in the leasing office and I also submitted her an email as she instructed me to and promised to share it with higher up. I followed up again with another email and I am yet to be aknowledged. This was back in July of 2024. Since I was a tenant exiting, they could care less to deal with me and my concerns. That's big corporate for you. They have no records of the many fobs that were passed out and cant keep track of who and when someone uses a fob to gain access to the building. They have horrible quality secutiry cameras so security here is not the greatest. All reasons why they supposedly couldnt help me. Now I'm stuck with trauma and a nasty scar on my leg. Not ideal for a family with children.
This is just my experience living here. I hope that HUE does better in the future. Give tenants a good reason for charging so much when the environment just doesnt give that SAFE and LUXURY factor.

I lived in this complex when it was still Ava and I have something to compare with. After the owners changed and the complex became known as Hue, everything changed dramatically for the better. I want to express special gratitude to our manager Jamie for his efficiency and competence in his work. I also thank the team of technicians for their work. The guys are neat and professional in their work.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to the building by Jayme.... She is 100% in the right field. I left with all the information I needed to make a decision. And she checked in later to see if I needed any other answers. As hot as it was outside, she made me very comfortable (even with water). A very cool and professional lady. Thanks Hue

I had put in a request for the paint to be touched up and screws removed from my walls and nothing was done besides my lights being left on throughout the house. Very unsatisfied.
