Assistance League is a great volunteer organization. I work with Operation School Bell .OSB helps undeserved k-6 grade LAUSD Students who are experiencing homelessness and foster youth. We provide School supplies and clothing, books and shoes etc..Come help us

i had a broken elbow so they gave me a special form to get signed by my surgeon which i did. i come back a different day to register only for them to tell me that they don’t even have anything available for me to do until i heal my elbow. so they’re already wasting my time. then i finally heal and i go to sign up and i’m standing in line and the asian guy said he will get me an appointment but he never did and then a different lady came out and says they can’t sign me up because they’re going to lunch and it was 11:49am - not even their lunch time yet. so rude of them to turn me away!!! so then i figured i will call for an appointment @ 1pm when they return but THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE until 15min later after they get back from lunch. the lady on the phone was nice cause she was the supervisor but this experience has been negative so far.
