I won't know how good this place is as I'm not a student nor a firm.

Absolutely loved my experience at this store, & will definitely be back. Just started architecture school and all the big name stores were out of chipboard, Architect’s Corner has pallets full, also has has anything & everything an architect needs. Gina was also super knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful! Thanks Gina! It’s tucked away, super discrete, no major signage, & currently next door to a construction site, it might be a tad hard to find, but incredibly worth it.

literally go anywhere else lol. For an art supply store based in downtown LA where there's lots of mural artists, they REALLY don't want to give you any products and want you out of their store asap. Better off going to hardware store.

I have a rather specialized hobby: I build highly detailed, excruciatingly accurate 1/12th scale dollhouse furniture. Architect's Corner stocks nearly EVERYTHING I need, and its selection of basswood products is the best I have ever seen. There are miniature power tools from Proxxon, hand tools and X-acto knives and blades, a wide assortment of adhesives, metal stock for making hardware, and more drawing and drafting supplies for shop plans than I can count. I occasionally shop elsewhere for certain wood stains and dyes, leather and textile fabrics for upholstery, or certain specialized clamps, but for everything else, Architect's Corner is my go-to. And Gina, who seems to be the only employee to interact with the public, is knowledgeable, helpful, and quite easy on the eyes! Just don't ask to use the restroom....PS: Finding the front door can be challenging the first time you go there. Trust Google Maps, and use the street view feature to guide you. There's a parking lot on the corner of Flower and Pico, and, despite appearances, the neighborhood is not particularly dangerous... unless you think you can beat the train that runs down Flower. Bad, bad bet.

Useful little art shop with niche tools and materials. Great for miniature artists. Cashier is very sweet and friendly. Good prices, too.

This place is excellent because of its variety of architectural modeling materials, but mostly because of how helpful Gina is. GO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

This place is in a strange location and I had some issues getting the materials I ordered on time. Overall pretty good store, they have mostly anything you would need

Stopped by here initially to buy foamcore for my wife since we couldn't find any in Pasadena, and was amazed at the selection! We've already come back twice in one week even though it's a bit further than our local stores. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but the lady working the store every time we've visited is super sweet and amazingly helpful. They also have a diverse and great selection of street art supplies.
