“Walking through the crowded aisles is like walking through that warehouse at the end of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Whether or not you are looking for something in particular, you will find something here... Actually you will find many "somethings" as this place is a cornucopia of interesting items. Mid-century modern furniture seems to be in abundance, but turn of the century cuckoo clocks, lamps, and pretty much anything else you can imagine are yours to find; Just make sure you have a few hours to actually go through the isles, this is not a place for a cursory review. Staff is great. As for value... what is the value of a treasure?”
“This is a must-visit for vintage lovers. So many treasures of all kinds in excellent condition and a truly lovely staff person who really knows her stuff! It's a small shop but i could easily spend over an hour looking around.”
“The store itself is just beautiful. Everywhere you look, there’s something unique and beautifully crafted. The prices are very reasonable too! I’d definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a one of a kind gift.
They also have your staples too. For example: I noticed a display with an assortment of colorful candles for only $1.50 each. I’ve seen some stores charge as much as $10 for the same thing! Little things like that make me more inclined to trust a business and return, which I definitely plan on doing soon!”

412 Bamboo Ln, Los Angeles“Service was excellent. Owner and his assistant were very helpful in educating us on various gold pieces, bracelets, pendants and necklaces. Also provided us with estimated value of some long-held jewelry pieces we brought in. I remember coming to this jewelry store when I was a young child with my parents, shopping for jewelry.”

“This antique furniture store is a hidden gem for lovers of mid-century modern design. Their collection predominantly features stunning mid-century pieces, making it a haven for those seeking that classic and timeless style. It's clear that they have a passion for preserving and showcasing these treasures from the past. If you appreciate mid-century modern aesthetics and high-quality antique furniture, this store is definitely worth a visit.”
“Great stands, but also a lot of junk. Available clothing is not for classic style.
The atmosphere there is very pleasant and there are nice things to buy. It's worth being there before lunchtime, it gets very crowded in the afternoon.
Great food and drink offerings, including a live band
School toilets can be used
Parking is possible in the surrounding streets, but you need some patience”

3939 Tracy St, Los Angeles“Parking was a bit difficult, but the flea market was wonderful! It had a great vibe and such a beautiful rooftop view. I especially enjoyed the Berry Sweet Berry Good booth. ALIZA is so nice and their products are amazing... and reasonably priced.”
“We brought in a heavily-tarnished Christofle Vertigo 3-Part Server that had been left outside for probably a year. Needless to say it was in desperate need of some professional TLC (or, in this case, CPR!) . Well, our guy Pablo took one look at it and said with supreme confidence that it would be ready in a week. Sure enough, one week later- presto-whamo- the piece looks as good as new. This shoebox-sized establishment has been in business since the early 60's and you can easily miss it as it's located on a busy intersection (Third & FFX) across the street from Trader Joes, but it's well worth seeking out. Heartily recommended.”

1800 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles“A really neat store to visit, it is very expensive. Lots of antique lighting and salvaged doors, wrought iron fencing, windows. Some high end furniture. It was fun to visit.”
“The COOLEST place in L.A. to see movie and television memorabilia! First of all, it’s amazing they even let you in the door and casually walk around this gigantic warehouse full to the brim with props from television and movie history. All is for rent, nothing is for sale, but prepare to have the time of your life just walking around and taking it all in! Wow! So much fun!”
“Kwak did a really incredible job restoring my antique victorian chair and loveseat! He completely took them apart and repaired them so precisely and skillfully. He is very detail oriented and I don’t believe anyone else could have repaired them so well and for such a fair price. The craftsmanship is beautiful. He reupholstered and repaired the furniture. He and his wife are very nice, kind and honest people. Such a pleasure to work with them.”
“Great shop! Very personable and friendly team! They have great antiques from jewelry to fashion. We saw a bride trying on a dress from the 70's that left us speechless. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind treasure then welcome home.”
“Geoff Brookes is a master craftsman who belongs to a rare guild of artisans specializing in restoring damaged treasures. Whether it's a family heirloom, a priceless Asian vase, memorabilia from the Titanic, or a phenomenally heavy statue at a very public Memorial---he is called upon by clients here and abroad. He has restored numerous items for me back to a flawless state, all with full disclosure about the process, and takes time to answer all questions and to propose options. I trust his judgment and am grateful to know him and to call him friend.”
“There are so many gorgeous things here, it's truly eye-popping! It's an incredible collection of antiques and vintage, a must-see if you like rare, beautiful items.”
“Cool little shop with a great (and varied) selection. I liked that there were a wide range of prices- felt like “something for everyone” (or anyone).Staff were friendly. Lots of stuff on sale when I was there.”
“I love this place. The first time they fixed my lamp it was pretty pricey because they had to pretty much rebuild it, and they made it more sturdy. And that also meant that this more recent time I brought it in to fix it (my fault) it was SUPER CHEAP because it was their parts so they had replacements. He fixed it right on the spot out back. We had very nice, light conversation while he fixed it. I will always take my business here. I appreciate this place so much! Otherwise I would have had to replace my beautiful lamp instead of repairing it over time.”
“Joel has the eye for things. He knows what will be collectibles in the near future. Solid design. Impressive collections. He is the designers source. Check out his bonsai collection!”
“I've been a customer at Counter Space / County since their first year. I've enjoyed watching their evolution. I'll always find something I want and always leave with something wonderful. I'm never disappointed. Great collection of vintage and new items. Well done!”
“I’ve been coming here for months as we are making improvements to our 1927 English tutor revival home. They have everything I need especially doors exterior and interior doors and hardware. They’re very kind and they have a wonderful assortment of treasures that have gone well with my house. They also have Gorgeous old tiles, meticulously removed and stunning Colors”
“Excellent excellent place one of my favorite places to shop. My favorite items are to find books for my library and it seems like on a weekly basis. Very very good books come in for the subject that I study. I’ve purchased many different items at that store over the years you never know what is going to come through that door, amazing amazing service people are friendly great atmosphere music is always playing and I encourage everyone to make this a regular stop for their shopping. Pleasure couldn’t love them place more.”
“Shocked that this place doesn't have more 5-star reviews! My friend referred me to Hutch since I'm redecorating my apartment and so far I've had 2 great experiences One was earlier this week when I tried to snag a credenza on Instagram. I was immediately told I was second in line to get the credenza if the other fell through. Unfortunately the other person did get to it first, but I was very impressed with the speed, professionalism, transparency, and organization with which I was contacted. The second was today. It's very rainy so I thought it might be nice to take shelter here for a bit during lunch as I work a few blocks away. Connie was wonderful -- telling me about her process and what the business has been like during the pandemic. It felt like I was talking to an old friend. She even helped me put my name down to be first contacted when she's finished working on a vintage shelving unit! In conclusion, the communication, professionalism, and friendliness of this business is a lovely rarity!”
“I recently moved to a new place and furnished my house with castle antiques and design and it was a wonderful experience!I also made my old sofa a new upholstery here and the work they put into it was amazingThanks to David Marco and ElijahThank you guys for epic pieces!”
“I was desperately trying to find somebody to re-cane a beautiful mid century chair that my cats had torn to shreds. I searched high and low, and couldn't find anyone to fix it, until a vintage shop in Atwater recommended this place. I am so excited and happy that they did. I brought my chair in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate. The owner and the people that work there are very friendly, but more importantly, they do amazing work. My chair looks absolutely stunning! It looks exactly like it looked before my cats got to it. This place is amazing!”
