This is my local store. Often there are 4 people waiting to be served, and one person serving, and at the busiest time of the day. They don’t seem to care much about their customer’s time.

On Highland / Romain. Do not buy potting soil from them for indoor plants. I bought and used the potting soil they recommended and repotted my plants at home. In about a week I noticed bugs flying around my apartment. Living room, bedroom and hallway. Even in my bathroom. It occurred to me that the only thing new was my repotting of established plants. The soil in the pots were crawling with bugs that have been identified as Fungus Gnats. Hard to get rid of! The store manager offered to refund the potting soil expense. The other manager was like "too bad", we are not going to give you anything to get rid of the bugs (hundreds of bugs, all over still) Told her not giving me anything but they should remedy the problem they caused. She smirked at me. I told them I have little birds and can't use anything toxic. They tried to sell me a product for Mosquitos /and gnats, but I read back of package that if inhaled "get medical attention". That product had a hole in the bag the toxic stuff was falling out. They said they had no other product. Particular woman manager cold! So, elsewhere I bought beneficial nematodes ($39). Jerry from nursery (very nice) said likely the potting soil got wet and those gnats will get out of control very fast. Manager at West Hollywood / Robertson very kind and helpful.

They closed the front gates 5 mins before closing and when I tried to access the side, someone literally slammed the gate in my face.

The hardware store is inclusive and has pretty much all of the standard items, i.e. hardware, garden tools, etc. at regular retail prices. However, DO NOT BUY WOOD THERE. Their wood is cheap quality, far below what you'd get at a Home Depot or Lowe's, and the prices are not commensurate with the crummy quality of the wood. The people are very nice and helpful, the location is excellent, and it's a really good neighborhood hardware store, much like an Ace or True Value, except that Ace or True Value have much better quality wood.
