I love this store. I hate over the top sales people or people who watch every step I make in a store. None of that here. I don't remember if they greeted me or not but I don't really care. They have fun shirts, cool books, unique gifts, and a cute little art gallery in the back. It's a boutique store so they charge a little more than other places... sorry if you can't afford it but don't hate. I go by once a week because I live right around the corner.

Wasn't able to afford anything here - and they didn't have what we were looking for anyway. However, there's a TREMENDOUS selection of mid-century modern furniture here. But the prices are...just, wow, really, really expensive! She must be able to find people willing to pay those prices or I guess she wouldn't be selling anything, right? Perhaps corporate buyers come here with big budgets? Or maybe celebrity decorators? Anyway, Ellen, the owner, was very gracious in referring us to other places and gave us the rundown on flea markets in LA. She gets really high marks for customer service (also, really good karma to refer customers to other competitors - smart business woman!) and she has an incredible collection of vintage items. I'm not experienced enough to know if these items are fairly priced or not. However, I keep finding what we want on Craigslist and eBay for much cheaper. So if you're willing to do that work and be patient, it's probably worth it.

Large selection of seating and tables. Prices are on the high side, except for lightning which is reasonable. Worth checking out if you are a mid century modern fan.

If you're in love with mid century and industrial furniture, this is the place to go. Everything they sell are authentic, well labeled and great in quality. Also, it helps that they have an amazing website. I recently picked up an office desk and a chair from them. The staff are really nice and helpful. Will be back again. Thanks !!

The staff there was so friendly and welcoming! We came in just to browse and found a lot of cool and fun furniture. This is a great place to go to if you don't want Ikea! Shout out to the associate named Edo! He helped us out and was very knowledgeable about every item we asked about!

If you're in the market for mid-century furniture, definitely stop by Amsterdam Modern! The warehouse is filled with beautiful and unique, one-of-a-kind furniture, all hand-picked by the owner and imported from Holland. I love stopping by the warehouse to check out all the new arrivals. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; all delighted to help you decide which piece you should take home. If you're lucky, you might run in to Louis, the owner's gorgeous Great Dane.
