DO NOT BUY ONLINE!!They will NOT allow returns. I bought a $200 pair of shoes that did not fit. I responded the day after I received them through the email provided for returns. Nothing. I continue to email them. Nothing. I call the store and tell them - they said, I'll let them know. Nothing. I continue to email and even try to email Mike Flynn (the person responsible for online stuff) personally. Nothing. Continued and continue. Never a response, it's been over a month. They will not let you return things as they will never respond. Their return policy is a LIE. Will never buy from this company again and make sure no one around me does.

Beyond scummy company that refuses to accept returns for full price online purchases within their return window. They didn't include a return form and their online return center is broken. Emails to CS and direct to their returns department went ignored. First phone call I got hung up on, second and third phone calls I got told they couldn't help me because they didn't know how to do returns. Had to get credit card company involved.

This is not a retail store it is a partial consignment/resale store who has absolutley no advertisement to let the buyer know that it is resale/consignment and the prices for everything in this store are 3-5x more expensive than actual resale prices. I bought a clone young boy shirt at 1875 AED and the resale price on StockX was $79 or about 4-500 AED. Absolutley scamming everyone on every brand they keep in stock

Don’t waste your money! I spent $400 on a coat from this place thinking it would be a quality garment. After only 2 months wearing it sparingly, the knitting on the coat started falling apart. I took it back to the store to see if there was anything that could be done about it and they sent me away! They can’t make any claims about the quality of their clothes and they charge a fortune for it. Don’t shop here. It’s not worth the price

Overly expensive (nice word for rip off) levi's (double price compared to Levi's online store , example 511 stretch flex $98 here, $48 online). No reason to go there except for the wifi and free parking (ironic)

I feel really bad for the manager of this store. She is so scared of the owners of American Rag and getting in trouble she said she could not accept my $90 return because it was 1 day past the return window. Which I might add is only 14 days. I bought two beanies on Valentines Day for my boyfriend and checked on the return policy as I was checking out because he is a very tall man and I wasn't sure they'd fit his head. The older woman who checked me out said I could return for a store credit which is lame in itself but whatever I live around the corner and have bought gifts here often over the years. Anyways because you're dying to know the hats didn't fit. They took teenie weenie beanie to a whole new level. So here I am the day after 14 days and the manager was not gracious or kind. In fact I am pretty sure she loved saying she couldn't accept my return. I was like I live in the neighborhood and She repeated the policy to me numerous times and kind of had the attitude of "Suck it I don't care you feel slighted by our policy" She also told me she would get into a lot of trouble with the owners for making this return. SOOO the question is who is worse the owners for making their employees afraid of them or the employees not able to speak with grace or kindness and idk just try to pretend. I get to her or anyone else what's $90 bucks but it's way better than two teenie weenie beanies that don't fit. And it's my $90 bucks that honestly would keep me buying things in their shop But I know they don't care, the air was thick with it.

It is impossible to contact anyone (Mike Flynn) in the online department. If you call, they transfer you and no one picks up. If you email them, forget it. If you leave a message on their Internet site, forget it. The person answering the phone at the store said the Internet guy, Mike Flynn, doesn't typically look at emails that aren't on his "personal" store email account. Arrogance or plain stupidity, not sure which.

Was passing through the neighborhood & stopped by because Mom worked at this location in the 80s. She said a lot had changed, but was relatively complaint free. Entering, I was definitely a bit overwhelmed - at first thinking it was a sort of large vintage/thrift store with the typical selection of Americana style goods... Getting a little deeper into the store, a friendly employee let me know they carried dead stock designer clothing as well (Comme, Rick Owens, Margiela) - to which I was pleasantly surprised. Certain items were even on sale for up to 40% off... Various price ranges so they should have something for everyone. The selection was definitely interesting, a bit eclectic & loud, and the store can be difficult to navigate. Nonetheless a cool retail experience.

Honestly, this place has a weird vibe; there’s Jim Crow stuff everywhere and Margaret Thatcher books aplenty as decoration. You come here for clothes, not for some lesson in warped politics and fascism. Besides, the only thing it is actually good for is to try on denim, which is about 20% overpriced; my suggestion is to try stuff on here, and then save yourself the money by ordering that particular model from the clothing manufacturer, which also saves yourself from supporting a morally questionable shop as well.

FOR THEIR CHEAP BRANCH -BEWARE if you’re any type of ethnic person shopping here because the girl working the store blatantly follows you everywhere and gives you the worst attitude and face lol. Made it VERY apparent that she did not want us in the store and was reluctant to even greet us when we said hello first. She had a complete 180 of attitude and was SO happy to talk to the white couple who came in after us.Also the store just sells a lot of weird jim crow related props and sells “artwork” of maoist china photography to hang in your home lol awful place, awful workers, AND overpriced.
