I was really happy with the care my cat received at Ambassador Veterinary Hospital.
My cat is very ill and was diagnosed with what is most likely cancer at a nearby veterinary office. I decided to get another opinion with Dr Wang at Ambassador and I am so happy I did. He was so caring and thorough and found another huge growth that the other vet somehow missed. Dr Wang provided me with several treatment options and a more thorough understanding of what to expect with a cancer diagnosis that the other vet office did not, and that gave me some hope while still giving me a realistic idea about the bad prognosis. I’m afraid that if I hadn’t seen Dr Wang, I might have put her to sleep before I had to or wouldn’t have given her proper supportive care. I’m a lot more informed and prepared since coming here. The staff was great and very accommodating. I was expecting the worst and got to bring my cat home and I can’t tell you how good it feels. I highly recommend this doctor and the hospital.

It is a very good hospital. They always take care of me with a lot of patience and I love that and above all with a lot of respect, but the girl who took care of my dog. I treat it with great affection. He gave him snacks and rewarded him at all times. I loved his treatment of my pet. Thank you so much. An excellent staff.

Bad experience with Dr. Wong, she did surgery on my dog's eyes to remove excess skin because they were closing but she left them open completely and he couldn't blink anymore. When we took him back his response was that he had to go back. to do another surgery to repair his eyes, knowing that each surgery was a risk for him since he suffered from a heart condition but they do not care about the health of the animals, they only care about the money, since he charged almost 5 thousand dollars and left him in bad shape. Unfortunately, he died 4 months after that surgery, I do not recommend that veterinarian, it is the worst thing there is, it is pure ambition for money, no love for animals.

I'm confused why they still label themselves as low-cost when they are not. I used to love this place because it was genuinely affordable, but now that they're part of a corporation, they've significantly raised their prices. It's unfair to low-income individuals who struggle to care for their animals. Affordable pet care shouldn't be reserved only for the wealthy.

Dr Kumar sold this to a corporate high-cost vet company, and they no longer offer pricing for low income. Expect to spend $1000 here for just blood test and x-ray. Prices go up from there.
Dr Kumar is no longer there, so look elsewhere for reasonable pricing.

Ambassador is great, they were able to see my dog same day for vaccines before we went in a road tri. Nice staff, will be back.

I would give them negative 000000 stars if I could. If it was up to me they would not be victimizing dogs the way they do. The vet said "leave him with me and I will apply a treatment for $400", he did not start anything until I paid the $400, took my dog into the back, and I went home - I called the next morning and the same vet said "your dog is doing great" and I gave out a sigh of relief. then I arrived only to hear the opposite "my dog was suffering horribly" remember this - these people are not in it to help animals, they care more about money. he knew my dog was horribly suffering and he lied to me. why, beats me. That aside, I had to take my dog to another vet - to real professionals that at the end required that I fork out money I did not have and had no choice but to "murder" my suffering dog. I always wanted to come back and write a review against this "Ambassador dog and cat hospital" because if I can at least prevent one animal from suffering from their neglect... I took my heavy breathing dog to them and left to another vet with my dog suffering with excruciating pain! - if you love your pet - stay away!!!!

Been her vet since day one. I use another when they are booked but they work together. Dr. Kumar is very professional. My dog is never afraid to go in the vet building. The artwork makes me giggles. The bills don't.
