Alan Desk provided excellence product selection and service for my new desk and bookcase. They had plenty of size configurations, color options and styles to choose from. The best in the business. I appreciated coming into the store and sitting on every chair until I found the absolute best one for me. Working with Jim at Alan Desk was truly a stress-free experience. Received beautiful suggestions for our new lounge area, lobby, and mezzanine. It was great working together to select the best fabrics, colors, and materials for each piece.Jim's organization and communication were a big help. Those are two things rarely seen together these days. Jim Meltzer is a rock star. We threw a fairly large wrench into the plans halfway through the project and he and his team were able to pivot and handle the changes with aplomb.Jim personally oversaw delivery and installation to our Phase I (which was extensive) and his delivery team and installers were also excellent.The photos are unfinished due to seating that is coming later but the finished project will be beautiful.

We worked with Vladimir Alvarez and he was a pleasure to work. Jim is also very pleasant although we only talked to Jim on the phone Vladmir has superb product knowledge. We went to so many companies like Closet World, California closets, Closet Factory and all of them were useless. Both Jim and Vladimir have the detailed product knowledge of virtually all furniture manufactures to design, suggest, make and get what you want. They are very patient and even did an amazing design mock up. The delivery process was also perfect even though it was tough to get a huge desk into our building. If you want custom configured office furniture this is the only place in all of Los Angeles.

Highly skilled professionals solved my desperate search for modern durable office furniture. They do smart layout planning, offer local manufacturers, lots of options and design advice for desks, cabinets, chairs, shelves, etc. Turn around time was also much faster than competitors. Incredible service and budget friendly! We hired Alan Desk to design a new and unique work space for 25 employees at our non-profit office. We worked with Jim Meltzer, who really took the time to understand our needs and present us with different options. He came to our office multiples times and really got a feel for what we needed. The end result exceeded all of my expectations. Absolutely gorgeous as well as functional! As someone who has never done anything like this before, Jim also made the process really fun and easy. I really like working with him and would recommend him to everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about the level of care and customer service from Alan Desk. When my chair didn’t arrive assembled properly (was missing a key piece), the staff seemed honestly hurt by it. Their reaction to the incorrect assembly was truly humbling. And they went out of their way to make sure things were fixed quickly.The chair exceeded my expectations, as did the staff.This might be my first online review ever and I’m happy to post it.

The level of professionalism that this company and in particular the person that I dealt with was outstanding. They guided me through the process of remodeling an office space from determining what was needed, providing detailed drawings to installation. I recommend them highly.
