Dear [AHF Management],
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the behavior of the staff at your Hollywood location.
As a homeless individual seeking assistance,
I was met with blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism.
During my visit, the security guard's conduct was unacceptable, and I have both a picture and video to illustrate this. Additionally, the receptionist rudely told me to vacate a seat, despite my explaining that my legs were in severe pain.
I was waiting to speak with a caseworker who had promised to assist me with housing but failed to return any of my calls or emails.
It is evident that some staff members at this location display a condescending attitude, possibly due to the Hollywood setting, which is entirely inappropriate given the critical nature of the services provided by AHF.
The dismissive and unhelpful behavior I encountered is unacceptable and suggests a lack of proper training and compassion.
Due to this experience,
I have decided to seek HIV care elsewhere.
I strongly urge you to address these issues immediately to ensure that others do not have to endure the same treatment.
The Hollywood location's staff needs to be reminded of the importance of treating all clients with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances.

I sat there for 1 hour everyone that was before me including those that were coming and going they never called my number someone literally said that I had been sitting there and literally walked passed me everything was so purposely done the guy who checked me in acted like everything was just lax normal his brain was beyond the ceiling with his brainless reaction

They have completely ruined my HIV care, completely over complicating every step of care. It’s like pulling teeth just to get a hold of my medication and the staff here is confusing and needs to take better care of their patients who rely on them. I haven’t seen my medication in nearly two to three months and am getting no progress going through this organization

Some one told me go here you can have all your healthcare need together meaning referrals out well I stayed several years and would give AHF below 2 stars if it were possible. They can’t keep doctors probably because they pay for someone just getting out of med school that is off to better pay after a few years . They send their doctors that work one day a week to conferences and pound the world to represent th n blame you for no making an appointment when the doctor is in affrica then they stop you m dictation to punish you and make you come in. It’s automatic. Biggest number one complaint is high turnover rate. I had over 7 different physicians or physicians assistants assigned to me in being with AHF . In their facility when they were on Vermont there was an odor that couldn’t be remove inn the waiting area once I saw a patient who had a bed bug on his shirt I told him and he became defensive an said it must’ve com from the busAs this location services a lot of indigent an homless people bless their souls I’ve been to the new facility prescription area and it looks nice and clean I think the should focus on excellent medical care not bill boards or political causes but that’s just me

Bad service attitude if you need paperwork done hold your breathe and doctors they cannot keep I see why stay away from this one.

I wrote this because the last time I tried to make an appointment to see a Doctor I was told by the reseptionis we don't have enough doctor right now. If you want to go to another location you can apply as a new patient. Then someone told me he was denied service because did not have a phone number. I call to find out and yes is true some guy from AHF even send me an Email to tell me unfortunately since you don't have a phone we can make an appointment for you. That's cruel for the mebers of the community that are homeless. Also each time I call I give my information and nothing happens, I hope you understand our frustration and help your patients. To tell you the truth all the health care clinic and hospitals have issues but AHF Hollywood is the wors. If I call no one answers the phone.

This is the worst care facility ever, no one knows anything. If you call no one is there and if you talk to someone online is useless too. They will give you any excuse to make you life miserable.

AHF clinic works very strangely, even today they didn't call about insurance, I sat in the office until 5pm and no issue was resolved, just passed the analysis and that's it ., in other places it is done in half an hour and then they delayed 4 hours

Place is filled with very nice people. However, the communication between each other is bad. They also do not answer the phones or will not call you back unless you give them a bath survey. Waiting on paperwork for over a week and a half after having to take multiple days off to address it. Spoke to the program manager Jesse, and still nothing has been resolved. Would not recommend they give you the runaround. Was confused with other patients so the customer service I would say is lacking.
