Hired to move 4 miles, they were on time and professional…until they broke my table. They then spent a lot of time taking photos and videos to tell me that it was broken before. They completely downplayed responsibility and repeatedly told me it had been broken before. They then promised I’d get a call to have their handyman repair. The call never came. Not recommended.

I've used this company 3 times and 2 out of 3 times they damaged something. This last time they damaged my couch shown in the pictures. Note that this couch was wrapped in thick plastic film done by myself. To be able to cut through the plastic film and rip the fabric like that, I can imagine how hard it must have scrapped something during the move. I can imagine it being dragged on the ground through a long distance in order to create this damage. It is a heavy couch (sofa bed). I didn't know about this damage until after the move. The movers didn't inform me. This company has it's procedure to protect clients' furniture but in my opinion it simply isn't enough. In order to make sure your furniture is moved without any damage you really need to take control and watch these guys. You can tell them how you want things to be wrapped but they might not do it. You would have to tell them repeatedly. You can choose to save some money by working with this company but my advise is to really watch them and don't let things slide.

Hired this company to help move a very large house with a bunch of furniture. Got help from Salamat, Almas, Mirzat. Guys were very careful and fast. Highly recommend!

Alex and his team just finished my rather complicated and unorganized move. 3 great guys, worked very hard. Highly recommend them. The price was very fair. Further the service was above and beyond, a generous tip was inorder.

They moved my parents from LA to High Desert. The guys that came were fast, professional, respectful, and knew exactly what they were doing. They disassembled all the beds and wrapped everything up safely. I would definitely reccomend them and use them again.

We hired Affordable Moving for labor only services to load our box truck. The guys did such a great job and fit everything so strategically that had we attempted to load ourselves we're convinced we wouldn't have fit everything. Thank you so much for your services!

Everything about Affordable Movers leading up to our move was handled professionally and we were overall pleased with the experince. Unfortunately, I cannot give them a positive review due to what happened upon our stuff being delivered to our new home and the aftermath that has ensued. When the a drivers arrived, they had a pickup truck with a large trailer attached to it. The driver did not know how to drive a truck and trailer and upon pulling into our driveway completely damaged the entire entrance of our driveway. In his attempt to correct the situation, he then damaged our neighbors lawn by driving the truck and trailer onto their property, taking out their lawn in the process. We connected with Affordable and they agreed to pay for the damage to our property. We had everything fixed on our own and submitted the work invoices for reimbursement. Seemed very straightforward and all would be good. That is when we stopped hearing from Affordable and our key contact Keenan all together. We reached out to the owner Alibek, who also left us completely in the dark. Every email was unanswered. Every call went to voicemail. We had to track down their insurance information on our own, because we could not get them to answer our calls and emails about their insurance co. We have documented everything in writing, along with video and photo evidence. This has been a frustrating situation, and I hope that others considering this company are aware of the potential challenges they may face. When you look at this side, they seem super shady. Moving companies have insurance to cover unfortunately situations like this, so why is this such a struggle? Everything was fine, until it wasn't and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I usually have a good experience when a place has been positively reviewed here on Yelp. When things go well, it shouldn't be hard to deliver on a promise. But things went badly and the movers didn't handle it well. The truck didn't work, the loading gate quit. Then the truck stalled and wouldn't start. A 6 hour move turned into over 12 hours. The guys refused to move the rest of the boxes. Then the truck broke down on the way to the new apartment and the truck was late by 5 hours. They over-charged me on the invoice, claiming a number of hours that was impossible. I argued with management about what I was being charged. I managed getting the price down to what the actual hours were. They tried to make me believe they gave me a deal by not charging me over time! This was a nightmare.
